I ordered the navy blue case for my new iPhone 16e but what I received is a DARK GRAY case. I’m a professional visual artist and macro photographer who knows and employs color theory and what I was sent is definitely NOT navy blue. ONE STAR OFF FOR SHIPPING THE WRONG COLOR ITEM! Other than that issue: The case came very well packaged in the original seller’s box (which is really cool, by the way, and itself is very sturdy). When researching cases from another brand I’ve bought several times over the years, I noticed that company now sells the screen protectors separately as opposed to having them included as a part of the case. I need an embedded screen protector which is the reason for my choosing this Dexnor brand. They seem to be one of the few that still offer that. Also, when I received the box I didn’t realize they offer not one framed screen protector but TWO! One is a “standard” protector and the other has 4 little air holes at the top. Don’t know what the difference is between them other than that. The initial setup for me was a bit difficult only because I’m arthritic, but the durability of the case cannot be questioned even in taking the components apart. I tend to drop things a lot which is why I need a reliable case like the Dexnor. This case is PERFECT for us ‘fumble fingers’. I love the solid feel and the additional features it provides like the little flip stand and mag charging moulding in the back that gives you two charging options: plug in cable or that. I’m a macro photographer and must have lens protection for all my equipment, including my iPhone, and this case gives me outstanding coverage with the sliding lens cover. That’s something other brands I’ve looked at do not provide. To recap: •WRONG COLOR SENT!! Ordered navy blue, got dark gray •Two choices of screen protectors with beveled edges that securely grip the phone (LOVE that!) •Durable case •Little flip stand in back •Magnetic charging mount •Camera lens sliding cover •Clear and concise written instructions with additional YouTube video guides and contact information to help you get started. I do feel this case is worth every dollar for its thickness, weight and durability. I won’t be subjecting it to any wet conditions so can’t speak on that. Just be aware that you might not receive the right color-guess whoever packed this one is color blind or just don’t know what navy blue looks like 🤦🏽‍♀️. All in all, it seems to be what I need. I have bought many cases for iPhones. From the iPhone 5S to the 16 Pro Max. This case for my iPhone Air is the best one yet. First of all it has a privacy screen that is truly private at a very small angle your screen disappears from view of others! A real bonus is that it is truly fingerprint resistant! First one I have ever had! That actually works! Don’t need a privacy screen a non screen open frame comes with the case. Second is that it has a MagSafe magnet that is quite strong. So your MagSafe accessories will not fall off neither will the phone fall off a wireless nightstand charger! Other reviewers mention the camera lens protection slider coming off. I believe if the case gets dropped that may happen. There’s a raised lip around the lens area so even if the slider fails the camera lens is still protected from being scratched when you set the phone down. There’s also a built in adjustable stand. Officially had it for over a year now, overall it does its job well, protected my phone from several drops with only the top inner plastic frame breaking. Besides that it held well probably due to its two separate parts. For the cons it just now fully snapped the kick stand with a less than a yard drop, it’s been slowly losing its hinge hold and this drop just did it in, atleast its lasted a year. It has never worked well with my screen protector, always had to fight with air bubbles forming on each corner, massive ones formed if you applied any pressure on the screen, a drop guaranteed a session of full removal and smoothing it out only to reform the small ones after putting it all together. Maybe its just with the brand of screen protector I got, but thats been the only negative experience Ive had with this case you may not encounter the same, and its held up decently at its job to protect my actual phone. 👍 Prob wont order again though. I’ve had this case for a couple months now, and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. I started off with the built in screen protector front. It lasted quite a while, which I was surprised by since I work in a steel mill and great screen protectors usually every other week. The built in protected feels nice, it isn’t loose on the screen like a lot of others. Over the last couple months, I’ve melted the built in screen protector a bit from welding and whatnot, so I switched to a standard glass protected. This is where my only issue with this case comes in. It comes over the edges of the front just enough to peel up the screen protectors (of my phone anyway). But, this was easily remedied with about 40 seconds and a dremel. All in all, this is a very nice case, and I will be buying another when this one has had too much beating (which I assume will not be any time soon). Read more
