I have a 70 lb lab mix who loves car rides but DESTROYS my interior. This cover solved that problem. The hard bottom is rigid and stable so my dog isnt sliding around on turns like he did with the soft hammock style covers I tried before. Door protectors slide into the window seal and stay put even when I crack the windows. Headrest covers catch the drool and mud that used to get all over my seats. Waterproof layer actually works because my dog jumped in soaking wet after a lake trip and nothing soaked through. Installation takes maybe 5 minutes and the straps hold it tight. Seems of good quality...material and stitching feel pretty sturdy. It was easy enough to figure out the installation, however those metal tabs to hold the door panels in place didn't fit into my car's window openings. Not really sure how it can fit without interfering with the window operation. I'm going to cut that portion off both sides and secure everything with velcro. Also, decided to cut some extra copies of the boards they provide out of sturdy cardboard and slipped them into the pockets under the boards to reinforce the floor. I'd seen some complaints about these floors not being strong enough for heavy dogs. I added about a 1/4 inch of extra thickness using three cardboard sheets in each pocket, crisscrossing the corrugation. Strongly suggest this. Feels much more sturdy. May even pull the whole thing out and glue the cardboard sheets together into sandwiches for even more rigidity. I had a version w/o the hard floor previously. The only area my dogs could lay on was the seats. This version turns the entire area behind the front seats into usable space for them to lay down. They said they like it. If this thing lasts for 4 or 5 years, then it should get 5 stars. Read more

I just received this item and set it up. Install was easy and it looks great but as soon as I put my 72lbs German Shepherd in the back the from left panel snapped. It lasted all of 10 minutes of him standing there. So much for the 420lbs weight limit. Read more
