This is a great alternative if you’re like me and wished the PSP came in a Nova Pink option. (It’s not quite the same shade as Nova Pink, I actually like it more.) Looks great and easy installation. Although, the provided pry bar was not helpful to me. As others have stated, be extra careful when removing the PS button. I snapped one of the rings when placing it on the new shell, but it still stays in place. Overall great, and does not have an “aftermarket” feel. Read more

This fit perfectly for my portal and definately gives the Black portal a unique look now. It doesn't feel non-stock or changes the grip in anyway. In another words, its functionality the same. Same with the durabiblity. It doesn't feel more different from stock. I don't feel it adds much protection too the device. That said, installation was a bit more trying than I expected and the fact that it isn't a completely reversable change as the PS button and the Mic button need to be swapped in and, at least, the PS button had to be cut out of the old trim piece. There is nothing wrong with the design of covers that were sent, but what the manufacturer fails to mention is that it is almost impossible to safely remove the PS "home" and pause buttons from your portal without breaking them. They are connected to the portal by incredibly small and fragile plastic pieces that break under a small amount of force. I took a lot of time trying to carefully remove the button without doing any damage to it and by barely pulling on the home button it snapped one of the plastic connectors. To be fair to the manufacturer that is due to the Portal's design, not their design but there is no getting around it if you want to install this product and it is not as simple as they make it look in their directions. If they could build a design with replacement buttons built in it that would solve the issue, but so long as they continue to require you to remove and install the original buttons yourself I strongly caution anyone from buying this product as it is highly likely that you will damage your Portal.
