I’ve been using the carrying case for my ROG Xbox Ally and the Ally X 2025 for a good while now, and it has turned into one of those accessories that makes everything feel way more organized and protected. I got it because my setup was getting messy. I had the console in one pocket, the charger in another, SD cards hiding in random spots, and the screen always felt like it was one bump away from getting scratched. This case fixed all that in a pretty simple way. When I opened the case, the first thing I noticed was how solid the shell feels. It has a firm structure that doesn’t bend easy, and the zipper moves smooth every time I open it. The handle feels strong too, not flimsy or thin. I’ve carried it by the handle several times and it still feels the same as day one. Inside, the layout is really well thought out. The main compartment fits the Ally snug, not too tight but not loose either. The padding feels soft but protective, and the console doesn’t shift even if I shake the case a bit. The strap that holds it down actually helps more than I thought. I’ve opened and closed the case many times and the strap hasn’t stretched or loosened. I put my charging cable, a cleaning cloth, and the extra thumb grips in there and they stayed put. The case opens wide, which makes it easy to grab the console without fighting the zipper or the padding. The inside material hasn’t scratched the console at all. I’ve slid the Ally in and out many times and the fabric still looks smooth. The stitching around the edges looks clean and hasn’t frayed. I’ve also used the case during rainy days. It didn’t get soaked, but it did get a few drops on it, and the water rolled off without leaving marks. I wiped it with a cloth and it looked new again. The outside material seems to handle light moisture fine. After several weeks of daily use, the case still feels sturdy. The zipper works the same as day one, the padding hasn’t flattened, and the shell hasn’t softened. The screen protector is still clear and hasn’t peeled. The thumb grips haven’t stretched out.
