I don't know how people are leaving 1 star reviews saying it lasted a month, i bought this on Nov. 6th 2023. It's April 12 2025 and i'm still using the same one. I've dropped my phone a couple times and yeah it pops off from impact but i didn't drop it because of it, it was my own clumsiness. the hinges are still strong and stay in place when i use it as a stand. the only thing i haven't tested is mounting while driving, i don't have a car mount (haven't found one i liked yet) i wouldn't say it has good rotation ability unless you use a phone case like i do, you have to actually slide the ring on the magnet of the back of the phone and position it where you want it to be angled, if i wasn't using a case, i'd imagine it scrapes the heck out of the back of your phone where the contact is. Slimness is fine, i think it's thinner than a pop socket (i've used those since 2013 and i've dropped many phones on my face with them) this one i haven't actually had the pleasure (or displeasure, rather) of dropping my phone on my face while doomscrolling in bed. aside from that, the colour is still vibrant as ever, i got it to match my apple watch band. This is great BUT it will eventually give out if you drop your phone a lot like I do. If not, this could last forever. Used since February 2025, it’s now August 2025 (7months) and the spring/hinge fully gave out today so it just flops open and closed now. Changing the magnets that come with it will not fix the hinge. Luckily I bought 2 because I knew I might break one lol. Considering just how much I drop my phone and how often this got banged up, it lasted a good amount of time. I love this. It is very, very strong magnet. I Use it to stand my phone up for timed pictures, to hold onto for selfies, standing it up on my desk... easy to spot standing. I even use it in the car to hold up my phone in a car magnet stand that is not strong enough but the grip opens and fitss in hole of that stand . Works like a charm and hold on. It can also be temporarily taken off phone easily. Still fits in small purses, the back pocket without difficulty. Not bulky. Works great as a stand, pretty strong magnet, it hold the phone up stuck to something teak but it will come off if you drop your phone. It is incredibly heavy, to the point I stopped using it. My wrist began hurting from holding one handed with it. At first I thought I was nuts, but once I took it off my phone my wrist feels better after a few days. This is my first one of these things. Pictures show it on my Pixel 10 pro xl but I use it on my S25 Ultra. It feels fairly comfortable when I have my finger tucked under it but it could be more comfortable. The magnet is super strong and it takes a bit of force to remove it. Decent price. Love the colors. I got this in search of an easily removable grip (replacing the stick on pop out style grip) so that I can use my dash mount cradle. I really wanted to like this magnetic phone ring holder, but it didn’t fully work for me. It fit my iPhone 17 pro, but it’s not easy to use like my previous grip. The design feels a bit awkward to hold, especially for longer periods, and the magnet strength is just okay — not as strong or confidence-boosting as I expected. Using it as a stand was also hit or miss. It felt awkward to position, and I didn’t feel comfortable that my phone was stable enough to stay upright without the risk of tipping or falling. It may work fine for light use or quick handling, but it didn’t feel secure enough for regular stand use.
