Adhesive on rings is sub par, otherwise device functions well. Wish I could turn the led's off.

I put this on a s25+ and tried it out. My case is silicone so the adhesive can not go on the outside. I mounted the ring on the back of my phone and set it on the charger. In about 20 minutes (indoor, air cooled environment) and the phone literally fell onto the floor. Upon inspection, the ring was still firmly fastened to the magnet which is quite strong. The s25+ has a glass back and maybe that played a role in it? I used rings from another product and those have held on firm. Having my phone randomly fall off while driving would have been sub-optimal at best, glad I tested it before I took it out on the road. I will probably get a magsafe case and see how that plays out, my current samsung case is 2mm thick and this thing just cant hold through that much material I guess. I am not a fan of the lights either, if they only lit up when the phone was on it that would be great but they are lit all the time and I just don't need that in my field of view while driving, day or night. I could unplug it but plugging in the device so I can charge my phone kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless charger... Installation was pretty simple and the device is kind of svelte for its purpose. It is held in place much better than other mounts that rely on the AC vents. The extra plastic on the clip handle does a good job of keeping the vents open despite the weight of the phone. It functions but does so in a kind of narrow window of performance. If you have a magsafe case already it likely will work fine for you if you dont mind the lights shining always. Read more
