Dog Training Collar - Shock Collar for Large Medium Small Dogs - Behavior Electronic Collar with Remote Control

I was referred to this product by a family member. These have been lifesavers! I love the fact that they are waterproof (which recently came in handy when my pup decided to take a short and unexpected swim in a pond) and that you can program one remote for two dogs! The range is fantastic and battery life certainly exceeded my expectations - and I love the fact that the collars will go into their own “sleep mode” after a certain amount of time of detecting no movement! I not only love having three settings - beep, vibrate and shock - but that you can choose the severity of vibrate and shock delivered on a scale of 0-100. If you wish to but a different collar than the default plastic one that comes with it - look for one in a 1in size and it should fit just fine - that’s what I had to do - very happy! Read more

What I wrote before: "I really enjoyed this collar while it lasted, but now the remote is not communicating with the collar. They both charge and turn on...but no response from the collar when I select buttons. I hesitate to buy again. Am I only going to get another year???" <<<UPDATE>>> FIGURED IT OUT! On this collar, which is just a SINGLE dog E collar, there's a small grey button on the top right side that, when pressed, will change the settings from "Dog 1" to "Dog 2". I guess you can buy another collar and add it to the same setup? Or is this just a manufacturer issue where they didn't have the funds to remove the button for the 1 dog setup. Either way, watch it with that. If you accidentally switch it to "Dog 2", the collar will no longer respond to the remote. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the product and have recommended it to everyone I know with a dog. THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE USED AS AN ELECTRIC/ZAP COLLAR! I only used the E collar function 2 times with one of my dogs that absolutely wouldn't respond to corrections when obsessing over different dogs at the dog park and attempting to hump them. A zap along with a strongly worded "OFF!" or "DOWN!" was all it took. After that, I only used the vibration which the dog now pays very close attention to both my voice and the collar. This is an excellent tool when used correctly. For those that think this is abuse...so is your dog getting run over by a car when you couldn't stop it from running into the road because it wouldn't listen to you. And so is a dog getting put down because it bit another dog or person because it was dominant over you, the owner who didn't train it to listen to your commands. If your dog is treat motivated, congrats. Mine aren't. They are strong willed and give zero F*cks unless they know I can fully deliver consequences from afar. Even putting the collar on them puts them both into a very attentive mindframe. We can then go to the beach, on hikes, and off leash they can romp and play having a blast and I have the peace of mind that with a simple vibration and a "COME!" or "HEEL!", they will return to my side. This puts me at ease and we all have a wonderful time. Rules and Boundaries are healthy and wonderful for your dogs. We all know those arseh*les at the parks that just stand there on their phones or watching like deer in the headlights while their dogs act like little jerks. It works great and love the way each function has its own button so you don't accidentally zap when cycling through like some other collar remotes ... The only down side is the contact point sizes it is either very short or extremely long no in between and the rubber caps only came in smaller size... But aside from that it's a great value and loving it. Read more

Works when it works. This is our 3rd on of these in 2 years. They seem to last about 4-6 months or so. What breaks is usually the remote. Weve had 2 now that have stopped charging completely. Its funny because you would think the collar would be the part that stops working first since it gets the most abuse from our dogs running around. When it dies work, does a fantastic job of keeping our dog close when off leash. Great range and nice to have several modes. Too bad we won't be buying another one of these. I tried a different collar that did not get the response that this one does. My little pug is so well mannered at home and when we go for a walk, until we meet another person or a car comes by. For some reason, she wants to think she can scare vehicles and other walkers, even if they are walking a dog or not. This little collar has taught my little girl to be a young lady. After only 2 light shocks with this collar, she knows exactly what will happen if she goes into her “Big , bad, vicious KUGO act”. She recognizes the collar immediately when I get it and put it on her. No more misbehaving from my little 20 pounder. LOVE THIS COLLAR! It does the job without doing any harm to my pet. I ordered this April 23 and it worked well for a few weeks. I did not need to use this for a while as my dogs behavior improved for a bit. When i tried using it again it was fully charged and not emitting any signal from the remote to the collar around my dogs neck. I contacted tech support June 20 and they called me to trouble shoot. They had me press and hold the power button on the collar for 45 seconds and then turn it back on. It worked again last night, but again this morning it is not working again. I did what I was told to do last night I held down the button on the device for 45 seconds and turned it back on but no sound or shock or pulse occurred. I don’t know what exactly is wrong but this product is high maintenance and not worth the high price I paid for it. Now I have a functionless shock collar. Don’t waste your money. This dog training collar is an improved version from my past collars. There are several differences that makes this a better training tool for my dog. 1. There are 3 training modes instead of just 2 and have adjustable levels from 1 to 100. My other collars just had a few levels like low, medium and high. 2. Works up to 1000 ft. 3. Rechargeable lasting about 2 weeks once fully charged I like that there are silicone covers over the metal pegs which allows more comfort for my dog. My dog loves the water and has been swimming for short times with this collar still working. The company does offer a year manufacturer guarantee which gives me some peace of mind. Read more
