This works amazing. I have been through the ringer on collars for my bloodhound and this is the first one that works. She is a stubborn 125 lb hound dog with the neck the size of a freightliner and nothing has worked on her. My poor neighbors. Just a couple days with this collar and she is already responding to it. I will never buy a different collar ever again. Read more

It uses an accelerometer-based sensor to detect barking rather than just audio, which can help reduce false triggers from background noise. This is great for my coonhound. We have other dogs and didnt want any false triggers. Had this on for 1 week and it is amazing. Read more

When we got it it was working fine without any issues but now only after a few month of use it started malfunctioning. we tried testing the collar but it did nothing so I thought maybe the lower settings didn’t do much, so I move the dial to 5 same thing, nothing happened. I finally move it to 10 keeping a very close eye on my barker it didn’t do anything. I took it off and put it to charge the whole night thinking this might solve the problem. Next day I put it back on my dog and she seemed fine and it looks like the collar is finally working, then all of the sudden it just goes off without any noise/barking or any other dogs around. She yelped in pain at a setting of 4 I lowered to a 2 thinking maybe the mic/bark sensor was being over sensitive to sound. It did go off again without any reason. I finally took it off and have not had my girl wear her collar. She needs correction but only when she does bark but not just because a faulty sensor. Now it’s too late to return I guess that was almost $100.00 dollars wasted. Read more

Have tried at least 6 different bark collars. After having animal contractor called on me once again, I decided to spend a little more money on a bark collar. My dog is tough as nails as most collars don't deliver enough of an corrective shock to get her to stop barking. Or, she is smart enough with certain "smart collars" to time her barks to where she only gets warned and not shocked. I actually had to buy the expensive "Stubborn dog collar" for the electric fence as well. The normal collar didn't even faze her. This collars more than powerful enough to get her attention. I set it to 10 and let her outside. A minute later she found out how strong this thing is. I had to see for myself, so I put it on and felt it. Man! This thing hurts. I've since turned it to a 5 and that's still way stronger than most bargain bark collars on here. The strap is high quality, and easy to put on. It charges easily and hold a charge for a pretty long time depending on how many times it's set off. Bottom line is if you have a dog that laughs at regular shock collard than this is the one I guarantee will work. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I just got it in the mail and opened the box, which was nicely packaged. I Then read the instructions which included how to fit the collar and trim for size. I think I may have trimmed it a bit too short, but it will work. (Note) Always trim longer than you think, then trim a little at a time til you get the right length, fitting to your dog each time. At first when I turned it on, I got the green pulsing light but no vibration when testing, then I saw the instructions said it comes partly charged from the company, and you need to fully charge for 2 hours, which at that time you will see a solid green light. I'm waiting for it to finish charging, then I will put it on my dog, hopefully before the mailman shows so I can see how it works! The unit is very well built and looks like it will last. Grok said it was the best one for the money, so I purchased the YS600 after trying several other collars, my 8 year old German shepherd (Lucy) hopefully will not be barking like a banshee when they arrive in their mail truck. 😆 I do recommend this collar especially if you've tried all the others. Best wishes! Read more

I've had this for a week and it's worked great so far. I have only needed to use it 4 times and after the first four corrections to my separation anxiety-prone dog, he doesn't scream or howl in his crate anymore let alone hurt himself. I noticed that the collar was inconsistent with corrections - meaning he will howl and bark, be corrected, then continue to howl or bark immediately afterwards. Although my dog quickly caught on and realized that the vibration is a warning prior to the correction. He now settles down in his crate and sleeps most of the time I'm gone (up to 4 hours) without hurting himself in the crate or screaming his head off and bothering my neighbors (I live in an apartment). I do not recommend leaving the collar on your dog if you're gone for more than 4 hours. I also do not recommend keeping it on your dog all the time. I was recommended this collar by a few dog trainers - please contact your local dog trainer and work with them first before ever putting an ecollar on your dog. I DO recommend READING THE MANUAL and working with a trainer first and foremost before charging the collar and placing it on your dog. I also suggest buying a "dog cam" or some type of security cam to watch/monitor your dog with the collar. The collar did not correct my dog for any whining, do expect your dog to still whine with or without the collar. Dogs are animals, they whine from time to time. Don't get a dog if you can't stand fur or whining. DO NOT give your dog a kong, chew, or any toys whatsoever as the vibration from the chewing can trigger the collar to correct your dog for no reason. PLEASE test the collar before putting it on your dog (read the manual to figure out what I mean by "test the collar"). The collar is supposed to vibrate in warning before correcting the dog. I started off in the vibration-only mode the first day of having it on my dog and he completely ignored it (he has severe separation anxiety and will hurt himself in his crate). I only use level 1 and that's the only level I would personally use on my dog. My biggest goal was to stop my dog from hurting himself and to learn to relax independently without anyone being in the same room as him. I achieved that goal thus far with this collar and lots of training. I do NOT recommend a bark collar for dogs with reactivity, especially on walks. I have only used this collar for my dog's separation anxiety in his crate and when tethered in my household. The sole purpose of this collar is to correct his state of mind before he harms himself on anything within his environment (his crate bars, destroying furniture, etc.) Make sure to place the collar on a different spot near your dog's vocal cords on their throat each time you use the collar to avoid any irritation to the skin. If your dog has long hair, see if you can replace the metal prongs with longer ones. You can even buy Dogtra's "dummy e-collar" to prevent your dog from becoming "collar smart" without having to leave the actual collar on your dog. Read more
