This is so convenient!! The base is made out of heavy metal so I didn’t have to place screws in my desk. I’m happy that I can bring it to and from pop up events. It comes with screws to secure but they aren’t necessary because the base is heavy and sturdy. There is an area that you have to adjust before attaching the arm to the iPad frame that allows you to tilt it up and down. It took me a while to figure that out. Look for that before you attach anything otherwise you’ll have to take it apart again. Definitely worth the money. Read more

We need an ipad stand at our business for a check in kiosk, but I wanted it to be lockable. I like the all-metal sturdy lockable design of this. But it does have one flaw, there’s really no support on the back for the tablet itself. The corners are 1/2” deep, I’m sure to accommodate a wide range of tablets, and maybe even some cases, but the end result is that when my ipad is mounted, esp in landscape mode, it rocks back and forth when you tap it. The back plate needs to be wider. I’ll be able to come up with a solution, I’ll probably cut a thin piece of plywood and glue it to the back of the stand to make it more stable, but I shouldn’t have to do that. Read more

This is my first security tablet stand. This is quite durable, sturdy and has a little bit of weight to it. So it's not flimsy in the least, and it was easy to assemble. You can screw the tablet onto a table with the bolts they provided or you can use the stand without securing it to anything. The stand will stay up on its own without being bolted down. I suppose if you do not want to drill holes into your counter you could get a security cable and loop it around the arm of the stand. The stand does firmly hold a tablet into place with the locking feature. Just be careful that when you lock the tablet in you do not accidentally over tighten the brackets while turning the key. The 180 degree tilt works very well. You can adjust it to any angle using adequate pressure, and it will stay at that angle while you are working on the tablet touch screen. The angle won't change if you are just applying regular pressure to the touch screen. To rotate the orientation of the tablet (not talking about the tilt, but the orientation of the screen) you will have to use the screw driver to change it. The metal has a nice finish to it that I like. It looks professional. Overall, I am very pleased with this stand. Read more

This tablet stand is as described, but IMO there are better values out there. At close to $80, you're getting a few chunks of metal and a lock that you have to assemble yourself. The unit itself just looks unfinished, as the 'alloy' is textured. If it had a polished or matte finish that could perhaps look sleek like an Ipad or other tablet, it would potentially add value. To truly make this device secure, you have to screw/bolt or otherwise affix this to a countertop or table. In my environment, I'm really just looking for something to hold a tablet. But if you need to make sure your tablet doesn't walk along with the stand- it has to be bolted down. So measure twice and cut once to make sure you're never moving your tablet from that location, because it's permanent- or you're repairing holes when you want to move it. This device does as described in the description, but at the price point you may be able to find better options. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very high-quality, beautifully enhanced tablet stand. It is strong durable and will look good in any setting whether it is a private office or just in a family room. I like the fact that there is a locking mechanism on the back that will lock the tablet into place. Also, the brackets holding the tablet in can be moved to the corners as you can see in my video. This is very important With an apple iPad as if you put the brackets in the center you will not be able to charge up the tablet. I did give this five stars for the quality and the look and the durability of this product. However, I do need to know that it is not easy to assemble. The screws that come in the package are very small and very difficult to place in the arm of the base. It takes a lot of practice in order to get it right. Aside from the fact that it is a little difficult to assemble. I did read it five stars and do recommended. Read more

This is not a bad setup. It was very easy to put together. It's very. sturdy. It does not topple over. It is easy to work the key mechanism. Adding and removing a tablet is very cumbersome and can be dangerous for the tablet. Be sure that you have a good hand on it, which is difficult to do while also unlocking it and moving it. If you're not going to be removing a tablet very often, it shouldn't be that much of a problem for you easily. fit my large tablet. Hold it securely It's easy to maneuver. Does not have to be screwed to a base to stay up. Overall, good quality product. Read more
