I got this to use at events for membership sign-ups, and it's great. You can screw it down onto a table, but I can't do that since I pop up at different events. However, it's also designed sturdy and well enough to stand on its own with the tablet attached. The base is really heavy, and the neck is plenty strong to hold any tablets that will fit in its clamps. I sometimes have to leave it unmanned as I walk around and talk to people, and I feel safe that someone isn't going to be able to walk off with my tablet. It's big and heavy, and no one is going to be able to easily sneak away with it. I noticed in all the reviewers' photos that they have their tablets mounted incorrectly on the stand. The opposing corners of the tablet need to be locked in, not the short edges. You can see in my photos and the product photos that that's how you mount it. Getting the tablet locked in can be a little tricky, but it's easy once you figure it out in a few seconds. No big deal. Read more

This stand is great. The materials feel very high quality, with sturdy, rigid construction. It's very easy to put together. If you plan to bolt it to a surface you will need a drill of course, but if there's no security concern the base is heavy and stable enough to be freestanding on a table/counter without being attached. The security key function is very useful and holds the tablet securely. I'm using this with a 10 inch Lenovo M10 tablet, but the size adjustments mean it will fit a variety of tablets in a number of different sizes. Read more

I got this stand to put a tablet on for when we're at events with our booth. I thought this would be good because it says it's sturdy and metal. The fact that it can be standalone or fixed onto a platform was great. However, that's where I say the good stops. While this stand feels stable and the base is indeed metal and has a good weight about it, the rest is it is not that great of a quality. First off, the base had some scratches/damage right off the bat. You can see it in the pics. The plastic bag it was in was also ripped right in that spot. Second, the main arm was discolored. It's as if they painted this part and missed the edges (you can see it in the pics). Third, the part that holds the tablet looked good, but when I put the tablet in it was really difficult to lock it in place. I had to move the spacer slightly to get it to work, which means that the tablet isn't as tight in there as I'd like. Once in, however, it's stable and doesn't move much. For the price, this is not the quality I expect to get. This isn't a cheap stand, and it looks like it was thrown together quickly with no quality control. I cannot recommend this as it is currently. The tablet stand is indeed heavy duty. At the time I selected this I didn’t read carefully enough to see that there’s the option to drill this to a desk or table. This stand needed to assembled but it wasn’t hard to do and fortunately all the parts and tools needed was included. Since I didn’t have a surface that I was willing to drill I opted not to but was still able to place this in a variety of areas because the base is definitely heavy and solid and even comes with some bumpers you place on the bottom and not scratch where surfaces. However, as nice as this stand is, I can see this being a better fit in a more industrial work environment . Whatever your preference, this stand would be a solid choice. Read more

This tablet stand is perfect for both business and home use. This is a really nice high quality tablet stand. It's heavy duty. Ive got a 10.1" Android Tablet that's in the stand now but it could fit a 7 - 11". Super east to put together. My 20 year old daughter put it together within 5-10 min. We were so surprised that it came with nice quality tools (pictured). It also came with round rubber pads for the base which I will be using. Extra hardware also provided if you prefer to fix (screw) it to a desk or table. Another cool feature - the lock & keys). You can lock your tablet into the stand and if you screw the stand into a table no-one is taking your device...easily anyway. 😂 I really like this stand and am happy with it. At home it will be used by the kids and I also plan to use it at my boutique vendor events. Read more

This is a serious piece of equipment. It it heavy and durable. When they say "anti-theft," they MEAN IT! it is adjustable and rotates. The instructions are good (not great). It is intended to be bolted right to the table (it has a key lock) and would not be out of place in any professional setting. Recommended! Read more
