Good frequency response, I expected a 'tinny' sound but was surprised at how well it sounded overall. We have a 'Bose' portable speaker but paid 3 times the price [excellent sound, range and battery life]. This unit about matched the battery life but not the Bluetooth range [cut out at mid distance from the source]. Again, well worth the price. Read more
I have other Blu-Tooth speakers - these are absolutely fantastic and blow them out of the water!!!! Some "tone/equalizer comments" - I think some forget that the broadcasting device (phone, kindle, tablet, computer, etc.) also has equalization - it is easier to use that for tonal quality. Once adjusted - these speakers rock! The price on this with coupons, etc. likewise is perhaps the most inexpensive - and the controls are so easy to use a grade schooler could operate these. As for pairing - just remember - if you are pairing multiple speakers - it is always a bit of a try and try again - especially if you already have the speakers paired with another broadcast device - but once paired these are fantastic in a multiple speaker configuration. I was looking for a bluetooth speak because my car audio went out, and when I heard the price of a new audio control module I decided to listen to my phone instead. This speaker was on sale, and it's almost Christmas, so I went ahead and ordered three because I'm a boy mom. It connected easily via bluetooth to my phone (this from someone who is often technology-challenged). It isn't good for the car because it's too large to fit in the cup holder, and when I tried making a call with it the person on the other end said the words were unclear. To stream a podcast, audiobook or music it's fine, so I'll keep the one I opened and keep looking for something for the car. My sons are using earbuds to listen to music and podcasts more privately, so I'm returning the other two. Read more

Honestly confused by these positive reviews. I'm returning mine! The sound is awful. It sounds almost like the music is playing underwater. Bluetooth connectivity was a pain in the ass as well. Junk speaker. Read more
My wife purchased this speaker for me to use in my equipment at work. It is great! The battery lasts through a 10 hour day at close to full volume. It also seems to be a pretty tough unit. The sound quality is much better than expected for the price. I may buy a second speaker to link with the first for an even better experience. Read more
