These are hands-down,the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. When I got them early in the morning, I tried them on. And I didn’t take them off until bedtime. I just wore them around the house all day and that’s how comfortable they were more comfortable than bedroom slippers. One of the things that I looked for when I was shopping for these was flexibility in the leather. I know that many Doc Martin shoes have to be broken in because of the hard shell of the shoe. But I have troubled feet and. There’s no way that I can wear hard shoes that I have to break in. Those shoes will break my feet before I break the shoes in. And that’s what I love about these shoes. They’re very yielding and very flexible so there’s a lot of give and suppleness in the boot while still being an extremely rugged and durable boot. It has a nice wide toe base for my wide feet so my feet don’t hurt when I wear these. And I simply love love love the way these boots are made.
