These shoes are killer! The look, the feel, the- everything is on point! I think it’s silly the amount of people saying these are heavy, f yeah they are!! <3 can’t handle it get out the Doc kitchen babies. It’s what they’re made for. It’s a heavy solid sole. I think it adds to the appeal of wearing a sturdy Doc. Like, watch out. I’ve had a few pairs of these. I sized down from a 9 to an 8. Break-in time differs. Depending on how you’re wearing them, how much, and what socks, etc. My ankles are use to the rub so I’ve become accustomed to it. I’ve always wanted a pair, but didn’t know if they would be worth the money. I got a size 8 and they are true to size. Some said to size up, some said not to, I’m glad I went with my normal size. They’re gorgeous and feel thick and durable. If you’re thinking about it, get them. The platform is pretty thick, they’re a bit difficult to walk in at first, but you get used to it. Read more

First of all, these have become my favorite shoes of all time. But a warning that they are not for the faint of heart- they weigh 7 lbs together. My legs and bum have become very buff from wearing them lol. But just be warned that you need some muscle for these bad boys. Very easy to break in as they are a softer leather. Fit seems accurate to me as I am usually an 8 and just got my normal size. They add a good 4ish inches of height so I am living my best tall life in them. Would buy again. Read more

The shoes are GREAT! Perfect height on the platform, leather is soft. They aren’t really that heavy, but I normally wear platform type shoes so the weight feels normal to me. The only issue I had was not with the shoe itself, but my choice in sizing down based on reviews. Buy your normal shoe size because I sized down and they were soooo tight my foot went numb in 20 minutes. I will return these size 8 for my regular size 9. I will update my review once I get the 9s. Now these are some docs! I am a tried and true women’s size 9 in US sizes, and a solid 40 in EU sizes. I also have wide feet. I sized down to the 8 (EU 39) because the 9 is a (EU 41), which is really a US 10. Anyway, the 8 fits so well and the leather is soft. They are heavier than normal docs because of the 2 inch heel but they are so comfy. Love this boot! Read more

Sizing sucks I’m Normally a 7 1/2 but own two pairs that are size 7 so that’s what I went with. And they are too tight so I returned and ordered a size 8 which were way loose I’m so sad I can’t find a decent fit in these. Boots are very nice other wise. Read more
