Dr Martens womens Anistone Lo Leather Boots

I just want to let everyone know these boots also come in a fourth color / material not listed on Amazon which is a light “Savannah” tan Bronx suede material if you go to Dr. Martens.com and they’re also beautiful! Remind me of Uggs material and color. BTW all the boot’s materials are slouchy which I like. So far I’ve bought these in 3 colors. That should tell you something. I bought the black which is a Nappa “Wanama” light weight satin finish leather, the charcoal gray which is a burnished waxy leather (as is the dark brown which I’m sure is also beautiful) as well as the Savannah tan suede. Don’t forget to buy the Dr. Martens wonder balsam for the burnished waxy leather boots. That leather tends to get scratch marks and this will correct it to a point. I also spray mine with leather protector to help waterproof them a bit. Can’t use the wonder balsam on the suede and must use shoe polish on the black leather ones (which do feel lighter BTW). These boots are a little difficult to get your foot into due to no laces or zipper but the loop at the back of the boots helps tremendously as well as the leather side loops if you have small fingers like me. For some reason, the Savannah tan suede ones seem to be easier to get my foot into. Once my foot is in there, they feel very comfortable. Not like other Dr. Martens boots I’ve tried in the past. And I love that I don’t have to unlace them to get them on since there aren’t any laces! I always buy my boots a half size to full size up. I like the extra room (especially for thicker socks) and don’t experience any rubbing. Lot’s of room in the toe box and I have wider feet but narrow heels. I might end up adding an insole or custom orthotics as I have high arches and benefit from this in all shoes. And even with my super high arches, the top of my foot doesn’t rub inside these boots! Anyway, I absolutely love them (I bought them in 3 of the 4 colors) even though I understand the quality of this brand isn’t what it used to be apparently, these boots look so cool and are actually very comfortable. And I’m picky about shoes. Won’t wear anything with a heel except for special occasions. Highly recommend. They’re currently on sale on Dr. Martens website (purchased the Savannah tan suede ones from there) but I’ll keep the ones I bought from Amazon. Read more

I’m really torn about this product. On one hand, I absolutely love how these boots look and feel: the quality is excellent, and they arrived in perfect condition. On the other hand, I’m extremely disappointed because the size chart on the product page is completely inaccurate. I’m a long-time Dr. Martens customer – I own seven pairs, and I always rely on the official size chart and customer reviews when choosing my size. I usually wear a US 9 Women’s (my foot length is 26.5 cm), which normally corresponds to an insole length of about 27 cm. In all my experience with Dr. Martens, I’ve only had sizing issues twice: once my own mistake, and once when a pair ran slightly small. But this pair left me really frustrated. When I tried them on, they felt painfully tight, and after measuring the insole myself, I found out why – the actual insole length is only 26.5 cm instead of the 27.4 cm stated in the chart. That’s almost a full size difference! The fit is also quite narrow, which I could tolerate since leather can stretch in width, but never in length. My feet simply had no chance. I contacted the seller, who directed me to Customer support. Thankfully, the issue was resolved and I received help with the return. The boots themselves are beautiful, and I might try ordering them again in a 10 or 11 Women’s size, calculating more carefully this time – I definitely need at least 0.5–1.0 cm of extra room for comfort. Ordered these in my typical size 10 and they fit perfectly. I like how they have an old school biker look and will definitely be using them for riding in. I like them so much I am getting the charcoal ones too. Read more

I'm a huge fan of docs, but these missed the mark. The soles are hard and toe box is too narrow. I expected these to be a comfy slip on I could walk for miles in, but they will be relegated to occasional wear for short durations only. I have over 50 pairs of docs and these are some of the most uncomfortable I've tried. Disappointed. Read more

They do not look like the picture they’re much more structured which I was OK with although the top is so tight and so small that I can’t even get my little foot into them to try them on to like see if they actually fit and if I could get my foot and I would be afraid I wouldn’t be able to get the boot off so I would definitely say size up, but I don’t even know that that’s a great answer Read more
