Tall Chelsea Docs
I am a big fan of Docs (I currently own 6 pairs including these and have been purchasing them for years, for me and my kids), and I was looking for a taller boot to wear with dresses. I already have the Audrick Chelsea boots, so when I saw these, I had to have them. I wear a US Women’s 7/EU 5 in docs so that what I got and they fit great. The shaft fits fine in my calf and is taller than my Chelsea’s, which is what I wanted. I like that these have a zipper as opposed to just pull on. The toe box fits fine on these, no painful break in period required (at least not for me). I like the Audrick styles because the sole is thicker, the toe box is wider, and they are relatively lightweight. These are super comfy and look nice. The only con for me personally is that my ankles are scronny so sometimes I notice a little folding in the leather in that area, if that makes sense. I almost returned them because if the ankle area thing but ultimately decided to keep them and so glad I did! Also, the other reviews complaining about sizing: I’m guessing they may not be familiar with the shoe brand and the fits of the different styles. These fit as expected. Read more
