Easy setup and large capacity of water which decreases time spent refilling. Some mentioned that it doesn’t last as long as claimed. If you have the output at level 1 instead of 3, you can get 4 days; however, you most likely won’t achieve full desired percentage. Mine is currently set at 60% and read out is 44%. With the temperature outside dropping and heater kicking on more, it’s not able to ready the desired goal. But with my experience, no humidifier with lower level can achieve that level. So to me, it works properly. I use it mostly for my tropical plants which include sensitive orchids. They are thriving this winter season. This review is coming out early on after setting up two of these in my 1700 sqft home but early indications are of quality, precision and good output. For clarification, we live in an area that's very humid during the summer but very dry during the winter. We have 2 or 3 months where it will get into the 20% humidity range inside and it causes a lot static making things rather uncomfortable. We've already had a few days that have gotten down to 30% or so and these have definitely made a big dent in that. So, as far as the product itself goes, these offer a lot of positives. They're very quiet, they look nice, and they should be relatively easy to clean. I really appreciate having two different ways to fill them (either by pouring water through the slot on the top or by removing the top segment and taking the entire tank to a water source). I also like the large picture window at the bottom that gives a great view of the water level and even lights up based on the humidity range in the room. I would say that quality of the build is definitely there as well. Everything fits really well and it seems as though there aren't many failing points. Durability of the parts also seems to be high as they all appear to be made of sturdy plastics. Time will tell if these keep up with the demand in our house but I feel like these will definitely be a huge help with keeping our home much more comfortable this winter. Read more

It’s a nice humidifier, broadly speaking. If you are looking for one that makes a mist and can service a large-ish room, this is a good choice. If you want it to do those things *and* be silent, this might not be the machine for you. It does make that sitting-next-to-a-babbling-brook sound. Dunno about anyone else, but it makes me feel have to, as my grandmother used to say, tinkle. Because that’s the sound it makes. A watery tinkle sound. I purchased a unit that unfortunately did not function upon arrival. The media could not be loaded. I’ve never written a review for a product, but I am so impressed with this humidifier that I had to say something. I live in a 600 square-foot studio apartment in New York City, which is very dry in the winter. Plus, I have been having very bad sinus problems caused by the dryness. I have purchased many humidifiers over the years that just could not keep the humidity at a comfortable level in an open space. This humidifier is absolutely amazing. My humidity was 21% when I turned it on and it has now been staying at a comfortable 45% for the last two days. The fact that it holds 4 gallons of water and can run for days is very convenient. Also, the other humidifiers would have to be placed on a table, which was very inconvenient in this apartment. The height of the humidifier gets the output of moisture much higher into the air. And the price point is excellent. I was looking at another humidifier that was $450 only to read awful reviews about it in Consumer Reports. The sleek design makes it very inconspicuous. I recommend it for anyone who needs to humidify a larger space. It’s the only one that I’ve had in 35 years that really works. And my sinuses are already feeling the difference. Read more
