This has been a great clock for my 84 year old father. We appreciate the large numbers, the ability to change colors, and medication alarm feature. We also like the sun/moon visuals - they help my father orient to day & night. My only "complaint" is that when you set an alarm you can't set it for just one or two days. This is the 3rd one I've bought. One for my husband that has Alzheimer's to keep him from continually asking me the day and time. The face is large and legdible for even people with poor sight. It gives the Day of the week whether it's pre-dawn, morning, afernoon, early evening or late evening. There are several faces you can choose from, depending on the person you buy it for. I've set each one up differently for the person's likes. You can even set alarms for medicine or appointments. It's great! What a great clock, especially for seniors or anyone who likes this information displayed with an easy to read clock face. The extras are the ability to set alarms and the choices of font colors and styles of displaying the information. I have one in my kitchen and one in the bedroom. The best thing was that when I plugged it in it displayed the correct time and date. I didn't have to set it! That has never happened with other clocks I have gotten before and I have had many in my long life. :) Worth the money! There is only one thing that could be better. It only has one center hanging hole in the back and when it is plugged in with the cord hanging down the clock goes crooked because of the weight of the cord. We wrapped the cord a bit around the back to get it to balance straight. But it would be nice to have a\ double hanger holes in the back to avoid this issue with the cord. Read more
Husband has Alzheimer's. This was easy to operate, large print, bright screen and it has been very helpful to him. I would highly recommend it and very inexpensive. It has many options I have yet to use, but as a time piece it is perfect. Read more
This is a great clock and daily date display. Has many alarm settings. Easy to set up. I deducted a star because the description said it came with a battery. It also made clear there was not an external power source included. But you DO need a power source. I used a USB cord and plug I already had. Read more
Bought this product for my grandparents who needed a bit of a larger clock to help remind them of the time of day and also what day it is. I love the large print and the fact that it shows not only the time and day but also the year and if it’s afternoon, evening, down, pre-dawn etc. with a little picture. Read more
This clock is fine, but a HUGE WARNING, for anyone that currently lives in Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US VIRGIN ISLANDS...it does NOT have an adjustment to TURN OFF Daylight savings! These states and territories never change their time, and this clock OBSERVES DAYLIGHT SAVINGS regardless of whether or not where you live, observes it or not. So every fall it drops and hour, and every spring it adds an hour. In Arizona, the time always stays the same! If your state, should decide down the road NOT to observe daylight savings in the future, (and there has been discussion about this from time to time) this clock will be wrong twice per year, and you have to go in and manually adjust it. The manufacturers KNOW about this design flaw, but chose NOT to mention it in their product description, but after I contacated them on this issue, they said that they would mention this issue in the description. They cited that due to cost reasons to keep the price lower, the clock did not come with a plug in wire (which they mentioned) and now after this discussion, they are promising to mention that there is NO ADJUSTMENT to TURN OFF DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time on this clock, (which they did NOT mention)..again they cited that both items were omitted from this clock, as a way to keep costs down. When I got this clock, I contacted them and we discussed this issue. They had very good customer service, so I am amending the original 1 star review (when I was stunned to discover this problem upon receipt), to a 3 star review (because they responded right away and dealt with the problem), with the hopes that they will do as they promised and MENTION in the description: the lack of ability to TURN OFF DAYLIGHT SAVINGS on this clock.
