A Fantastic Upgrade from Our Old Tank System!
We recently upgraded to this Ecoviva E8 from an older reverse osmosis system that had a tank, and the difference is night and day. We were constantly dealing with capacity and pressure issues with the old tank, and this tankless model provides pure water in real-time, solving all of those problems. Because we were replacing an existing system, the installation was surprisingly easy. The connections are standard sizes, and the instructions and online videos were very clear and easy to follow. The whole swap took about 30-45 minutes. My only minor challenge was routing the power cord to the outlet my dishwasher uses, but that was manageable. As you can see from my photo, the main unit is compact and fits neatly under the sink. The performance is where this system truly shines. The smart faucet is a game-changing feature. As my picture shows, it gives a real-time TDS reading, which provides great peace of mind. After letting the water run for about 10 seconds, it calibrates and settles on a very low number (mine is consistently around 6 TDS!). The faucet also alerts you when it's time to change the filters, which is a massive improvement over the guesswork of our old system. The water flow is also very fast and strong. Overall, we are extremely happy with this purchase. The water tastes great, the system is efficient, and we feel this is an excellent value for the money, especially since it will significantly cut down on our need for bottled water. We are very happy customers and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a high-quality, tankless RO system. Read more
