I got a sample of the Eclat Skincare Vitamin C Face Serum a few months ago, and even though it was just a tiny sample, I was so impressed. The texture, feel, and results were noticeable right away, so I knew I had to get the full size. I finally ordered it and I absolutely love it. I like how my skin feels after using it. It is smooth, hydrated, and looks brighter, even with just applying it during the day when I am at home. The serum absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel sticky, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and nourished. I also love that it targets dark spots and includes vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, which makes me feel like I’m really doing something good for my skin. The quality feels high-end, and I feel confident knowing I am using a product that is effective and gentle. Overall, this serum has quickly become a favorite in my skincare routine. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to brighten their skin, hydrate, and improve overall skin texture. Read more

Dec. 15, 2025, initial review: I received the Éclat Vitamin C serum and cream one week ago. It’s been a great addition to my routine. I’m 59, my dad was a dermatologist. I’m big into skincare and only use products backed by science. I like the consistency of the serum. It’s like water, so it mixes great with The Ordinary Buffet with Copper Peptides and Growth Factor serums. Apply mixed in a bottle, your hand or one at a time. All formulas compatible to do either. Next, I add my Rx Retin-A 0.05% to the Vitamin C cream, so it’s easier to spread the Retin-A (tretinoin). This is so perfect. They are ideally compatible. So far, no burning, redness or peeling with the added Vitamin C products. Make sure you treat your face, neck, chest and hands exactly the same, so none of them give away your age! My goal for the added Vitamin C is to even out my skin tone. I have very minimal sun damage. I haven’t tanned since 10th grade. But, we can always improve our skin tone and texture. The cream is a velvety smooth gel-cream texture, which is fabulous. It’s unscented, also good. The serum dries quickly, absorbs easily, as does the cream. No greasiness or oiliness during the day or breakouts. I use It Cosmetics powder foundation and Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. Both are great and compatible with all the products mentioned, and all available on Amazon. I will update review with results after I finish the first bottle and jar, then again in 3 months and 6 months. Be mindful of sun exposure when using Vitamin C, Retin-A or anything that increases cell turnover, so you don’t get burned, accidentally. I prefer sunscreen with clear zinc, and/or mineral barriers, rather than chemical sunscreens. I think Éclat products are very well formulated and reasonably priced. Results TBD! Read more

Love the serum, but the bottom of the lid is very sharp. I cut my finger super bad the first time I opened it! I now use a washrag to open. I thought it may have just been a container they forgot to sand, but I ordered a second one to see, and it was a raw metal edges as well. If they'll fix this issue I'll rate it 5 stars. Read more

I am 47 years old and this Vitamin C serum has turned the clock back on my skin. I have combo/sensitive skin and am an outdoorsy gal who gets a lot of sun exposure. Genetically I have tiny broken blood vessels on my cheeks under my eyes. This serum has evened out my skin tone and firmed up areas that are prone to wrinkles and fine lines. I use it every day after my shower on damp skin and follow with a moisture barrier serum. It absorbs quickly with no sticky residue and is a good base layer for other products. My forehead was starting to show deep horizontal lines, and this serum has helped fill them out until they are almost gone. I was starting to show signs of crow's feet around the eyes and those are gone as well. My skin is soft and smooth and from reactions of those around me when I tell them my age, it definitely works to maintain a youthful glow!! Read more

While I was excited to try this popular toner for its soothing ingredients like Teatree and Niacinamide, it didn't quite work for my specific skin type. Here is a breakdown of my experience: Texture & Weight: Contrary to many "watery" toners, I found this formula to be not very lightweight. It felt a bit heavy on my skin and didn't absorb as quickly as I had hoped. Skin Reaction: Unfortunately, after a few days of consistent use, I noticed it started to clog my pores. This eventually led to some breakouts, which is the opposite of what I was looking for in a "Miracle Toner." Application Issues: Because of the heavier feel, I noticed it didn't sit as well under my other skincare products. Additionally, I experienced some eye irritation if the product got anywhere near my lash line, so you have to be very careful during application. Final Verdict: While the ingredients list is impressive, this product was too heavy for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. If you have oily skin or are prone to congestion, I would suggest patch-testing this first, as it may be too rich and cause further breakouts. Read more

This serum is super light-weight and perfect for the first layer of a morning skin care routine. There is a light fragrance to it when you are initially rubbing it in but that dissipates as you layer serums and moisturizers on top of it. I have seen a slight difference in the tone, tightness, or smoothness of my skin since switching to this product about a week ago, and the bottle is a dark brown color so I have more confidence in it's shelf stability than the last vitamin-c product I was using.
