I like this heater. It’s small size has pros and cons. PROS: I’ll be using this in my small shop for supplemental heating in the winter and for fan-only cooling in the summer. It is 1/3 the size of an ancient heater I had up until last year, but puts out the same amount of heat, 1500 watts. Its small size means it won’t take up much room when not in use and out of the way, or even when in use. I can easily put it on my workbench to blow glue fumes away from my face. The carry handle is very convenient. NEUTRAL: The oscillation feature is ok I guess, but not something I will use. I find it distracting and not of much use. CONS: My old heater put out the same amount of heat – 1500 wats – at 3 times the size. How did this new heater get so small still put out that much heat. The answer is they crammed things into a tiny space, no extra room anywhere inside. If you look inside the front you’ll see what looks like a car’s radiator, but smaller and more compact. The spaces between the fins/vanes is tiny. Eventually, and much faster than my old heater, this one will fill up with dust, lint, and pet hair. And, it’s going to be harder to clean. Ever clean the insides of a modern gamer’s PC. You’ll need a compressor with an air jet. You all do have compressors don’t you? Ah. Well, I guess one of those cans of compressed air might work. This heater has Phillips head screws holding it together, so if things get really dirty inside I guess you could disassemble it and really get at it The control dial is not well marked and you can’t easily see what setting it’s pointing at. I’ll be putting a white line on one edge of the top to make it easier to see. For me, the pros greatly outweigh the cons. I like it. Read more
One best things I like about this heater is that because it's "dumb", you can control it with your own switch on the plug. So you can do things like add a remote or put it on a "Christmas lights" timer to start & stop at different times of day (e.g. for keeping a garage warm at night). The smarter touch screen heaters don't let you do this sort of stuff. It's only 10 inches tall - pretty small! There are 6 modes: - Fan (no heat) - Fan (no heat) + oscillate - Low speed fan + low heat - Low speed fan + low heat + oscillate - High speed fan + high heat - High speed fan + high heat + oscillate There is also a pseudo thermostat. It will turn on and off to hold a certain temperature, but you can't set the temperature in degrees. You just turn a dial from cold to hot and it will attempt to hold some unspecified temperature. I docked a star for the safety function. In essence, there is a spring loaded button on the base. When the unit is upright, the button is pushed in. If the unit falls over, the button is no longer pressed and the heater stops. I don't like this design for 2 reasons: 1 - what if the button gets gummed up and sticks? 2 - it doesn't work on carpet which may tempt people to put tape over it and negate the safety feature! I strongly suggest the manufacture consider putting in a mercury tilt switch (or an equivalent gyro + relay) to stop operation on tipping. I'd pay an $4 or $5 for that feature alone. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This little heater may be small, but it is powerful. It heats up in 2 seconds and sends out toasty warm air. I can’t wait to use it this winter. The nights are getting colder so I have been using it to heat up my bathroom in the early morning. My bathroom is 15 x15, and it heats it up so quickly that I don’t even have time to be cold. It has three settings which are fan, warm, and hot. There are also three oscillating settings that are fan, warm and hot. There is a thermostat knob that can be readily adjusted to allow the heater to turn itself off once it reaches the desired temperature. It has a handle in the back that it can be easily carried with from room to room. It is so lightweight and portable. I may take it with me for traveling during the holidays because I always end up with the cold bedroom when visiting family. The most reassuring feature of this heater is its ability to shut off on its own if it is kicked over. This is a great feature if you have children or pets running around. Overall, it is sturdy and seems like a great value. It has a 2 year limited warranty that comes with the instruction manual. Read more

Going into winter months, this little heater is gonna keep me warm in my cabin. It will also be used on my boat for those cold mornings on the river. It heats up a whole room even on the lower settings. I wasn't expecting such a high quality heater from one of this size. Thoroughly impressed. Would've been nice to have in Wisconsin. Lightweight and portable, which is what they were going for. It's also very quiet. It does glow, which is to be expected. Should be handled with care, but it is sturdy and will survive a few beatings. High Value for the Cost. Especially for its low-power consumption, portability, and survival utility. Gonna try a few of them for the whole cabin, they'll run off of solar since they don't need that much power. Thanks guys! Read more

We have a small space heater that I love. I work from home and instead of heating up the whole house, I much prefer to close my office door and heat up just my space so we can save the overpriced fuel oil. It's old though and I got this as a replacement. Heats up quick and even has a non-heat fan function. Has different temperature settings, a rotation setting (so it can rotate or stay stationary) different blower settings and also had that thing on the bottom that if it's not pushed in, it will stop working. So if it's knocked over, it automatically stops working to prevent fires, burn marks on the floor etc. Compact, lightweight and easy to use! Read more
