I have a neutral light to medium skin tone and the shade amber is really chef’s kiss for me. It gives me a lightweight glow, it looks natural but enhances my skin, it’s a wearable everyday foundation. It doesn’t oxidize! I truly believe it’s better than Jung saem mool cushion because I get glow without the weight or heaviness. This is my new holy grail I’m glad I tried this hidden gem. I will be repurchasing moving forward. Read more

I have always struggled to find a good foundation. So many just look cakey on my skin, or aren't 'quite' the right shade. I do finally have one that works for me but it is crazy expensive, so I'm always looking out for others to try. I've found K Beauty products tend to pretty darn good so I was interested in giving this foundation a try. First impression, the compact style of this and the way it folds to hold the applicator is really neat and makes it super easy to slip into your purse. The applicator has the texture of a standard beauty sponge, it's smooth and applies the foundation really evenly. A little seems to go a long way with this stuff. Two dabs covered one entire cheek from below my eyeline down to my jaw and from noes to ear. The shades are very limited and the ones available seem to really only be for pale skin, but I'm pale so that was fine. The color comes out way paler than it appears in the compact before application. The coverage is really good, it covered my rosacea redness well with a natural finish that wasn't cakey or too translucent where you could see my pinkness under it. Honestly I was really happy how this stuff looked even in full lighting. Now I do see other reviewers had issues with it making wrinkles more pronounced. I have mature skin, I'm 42. I didn't have any issue with it falling into my finer lines, but it did fall into the folds around my mouth a bit. However it didn't really seem to make the line more noticeable per say, it just didn't do anything to blur it. As to the finish, on my skin it did seem to give me bit of a glow. I have naturally oily skin so I think this worked well with my natural oils to give me a glow and reduce my oily shine. Now, is this going to replace my standard foundation for daily wear? I don't think so, it looks good but it doesn't have the lasting power of my standard foundation. Does this have a place in my routine? Yes, it will be excellent in my purse for those days I'm not doing full makeup but want a bit of pinkness hiding coverage. So yes, it's pretty good for me... but it is a tad on the expensive side for the amount you receive. Read more

Glow is such a loaded word in cosmetics. Are we talking high beams or diffuse light scattering? This pixel foundation gives just enough luminosity to bring life back to dull skin, but doesn't leave you looking like you doused your face in highlighter. As a "woman of a certain age", I have to be careful with what I put on my face. Most foundations settle into fine lines and leave me looking older; this pixel foundation somehow manages to even out my skintone without making me look cakey. Redness is extremely diminished, and instead of looking matte and half-deceased, I just look well-rested, hydrated, and vibrant. The coverage sticks around for a full day's wear (I don't sleep in makeup, so can't speak to the 100 hour claim) and even lasts through naps with my face jammed into a pillow. I went with Rosy and it works perfectly with my very fair complexion. Instead of turning me pink, it just makes me look healthy. No breakouts or skin issues with it at all. I've been using this for several weeks and am quite happy with the results. The price is pretty reasonable and I love how quickly I'm able to get foundation on before work. All in all, easy five stars. Read more

The color match on this was poor. I'm quite pale and went with 17P, but it was much whiter than appeared in the photos. This may be more of an asian-style "tone-up" product. The coverage was too heavy for me, and while I like the cushion compact design this one was a miss for me. Read more

The shade 17N is not really neutral and leans a bit warm. I also have shade 17P and they look nearly identical on my face when applied side by side. Both are a great match and I am cool toned and typically use cool or neutral shades. When applied correctly, this is a nice medium coverage with a really pretty radiant glow. You don’t need to apply a ton. Just gently press the little applicator and pat pat pat to blend it out. You shouldn’t really need to go back for more product unless you’re trying to cover something really pigmented. There isn’t any shimmer but it is very hydrating. I’m not sure if folks with oily skin would like this because of all the extra hydration. I think it does feel a bit heavy on the skin but it doesn’t look heavy. Read more

Okay, I've wanted to love cushion foundations, but most of the ones I've tried have a skin-suffocating, cakey feel that doesn't at all look right on my skin no matter how perfect the color match. This one is not like that. It gives good enough coverage to even out my skintone, but doesn't go on so thickly or dry so cakey that it looks like I'm wearing stage makeup, and it feels light enough that my skin can still breathe. It blends well, so I don't have to coat my entire face (I never wear foundation on 100% of my face), which is rare for cushions in my experience. My other complaint about most cushions? They smell like I'm applying perfume to my face. Yes, this one has a fragrance, but it is a fraction of others I've tried, and it doesn't seem to stick around. It fades. For me, this one is a winner. It may not be your thing if you want/need super full coverage, but for a breathable, comfortable cushion, this one gets my vote. Read more

Even the darkest option was too light. For an Asian marketed product, it sure doesn't seem to match any of the skin tones of my Asian family or friends. The size is pretty small and compact and the powder itself is ok, so that's a plus, but overall, you will need to have light skin tone to use successfully. Read more
