Update and review revision: I’m 100% impressed with this seller and I did try this brand of can opener for a second time after the seller offered a replacement. It took me 3 tries but the can opener did work as expected and I would recommend it. It opens the can lid from the inside of the seam which I wasn’t expecting but it worked!! Thank you to the seller for your diligence and help. Junk!! Tried to get it to work for over an hour and it would never attach to the can…just a plain can of soup!! Smooth grip looked bent. Read more

DO NOT USE. This opener can create hair thin metal shavings that you might ingest. I have used this maximum 10 times and it failed to cut deeply enough to separate the lid, so I let it go around again, thinking that would do the trick. Unfortunately it did not cut through but it did create a 4” long curled shaving very thin. This could get into your food, people! Does Amazon have a contact for hazardous items? Read more

I had a cheaper rechargeable one of these that did not stand up well at all. This one has a much stronger and heavier cutting mechanism. We have used it to open some cans at is is the real deal. It cuts quickly and cleanly. I like it and if needed would buy another one! Read more
