A regular hard plastic scraper is hands down faster and better. I picked it up thinking it would save me time, it did not. Here's the problems: Like everything it has its limits. Battery lasts, but not long enough. Motor is not powerful enough to handle pressure. Center clip gets full of ice and bogs down everything very quickly. There's no real escape for the ice it scrapes of you have it seated properly, and when you don't it flings the ice at you and everywhere else. In order to keep it running it requires pressure as the main go go switch is the large black part on top, too much pressure and it cuts off completely so you have to turn it on and run into the same problem. It only works in one direction and doesn't like moving the other three (depends how you're holding it). Overall it's great in theory but practically useless. I'm not returning it, but I can't really use it for it's designed purpose after having tested it many many times. Read more
