This is a great little invention. I preheat my lunch before I leave the house (often a thing of soup and a quesadilla for dipping) and put it in this thing, then plug it in when I get to work. It's on for 2.5 hours before I take lunch, which is probably too long because I do get little scorch marks on my food, but it definitely keeps food hot enough to be safe to eat.
