At 2.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches tall, it's quite small, which is fine with me. It has a magnet for mounting on a stove or other metal surface. It did cost just a few dollars more than the super cheap ones, but I think it's worth it. The old adage "You get what you pay for", I think it applies here. It seems to be very well made and solid - very much unlike the really cheap plastic timers I have purchased previously. The timer is simple... Only three buttons - but I don't need anything more than that. Anything more is just fluff and unnecessary.
