I purchased the 6-pack of ELEGRP USB outlets to upgrade a mix of standard and older USB-A wall outlets, and I couldn’t be happier. These outlets offer a perfect combination of functionality, ease of installation, and a clean, modern look. Installation was extremely straightforward. The design allows you to insert the white (neutral) and black (hot) wires directly into the terminals—no need to wrap them around screws. Just insert the wires into the appropriate holes and tighten the screws to secure them. That feature alone made the install process smooth and fast. Each outlet came with its own matching wall plate and all necessary screws. I chose to reuse the mounting screws from my previous outlets since they were slightly longer, but the ones included would work fine in most situations. The cover plate screws fit perfectly and gave a clean, flush finish. I held off on buying until they went on sale (thanks to a price alert site), and they were well worth the wait. After watching me install the first couple, my daughter—who had never installed an outlet before—took over and finished the rest on her own. That’s a real testament to how user-friendly these outlets are. The dual USB-C and USB-A ports are a huge bonus. They’ve helped reduce the clutter of charging bricks throughout the house and make every room a bit more functional. Just don’t forget to turn off your circuit breaker before starting the install—safety first. Highly recommended if you’re modernizing your home’s power setup. These outlets deliver excellent value and performance. Read more

Worked as expected. It does require a deep box and might still be a tight fit if there are multiple wires in there. Otherwise installed easily. Great to have electronics charging/power without a block. Read more

They look good, work well. I installed them myself. Quite simple if you know anything about electricity. Installed on an enclosed porch, downstream of a GFCI. Disclaimers: Turn off the power first! Unless are licensed, don't install these except as the homeowner! If you're not 100% sure of what you are doing from successful past experience, hire an electrician. Some details: Instead of the typical push connectors for 14ga wire, these have a hole to insert the wire into a screw lug (12 or 14) Very secure and minimal exposure of metal. Be aware that the screws for the cover plates are TINY. And, since everything is black, difficult to see. But they look great. Because of the chargers, these receptacles are the size of a GFCI. Won't fit in a shallow box. Read more

works for both new charging speeds and older devices. installation is easy and comes with guidelines on the back of the product itself. white wire versus black and ground. you can either insert the wires into the holes near the screws and tighten that way or wrap the wires around the screws and tighten. the value for this product is that it can power your larger power tools without blowing your 20amp breaker if your wiring is suitable to back it up. Works as expected. I needed something compact and be able to charge a couple usb devices at the same time. This charges both fast. Iphones don't come with chargers and with this I don't need to get one. The outlet is bigger then a regular outlet and I had to replace the electrical box so this would fit. It was easy to do where we put it but something you might need to do too. If it's a double outlet box you should be ok. Read more

Had previously purchased the 15 Amp version of this outlet and was very satisfied with it. I needed a 20 amp circuit added to my workbench in my basement. After adding the breaker and wiring, I installed this outlet. The USB ports let me connect devices without wasting a plug with an adapter. I was impressed with the quality and ease of installation with the 15 amp version and was not disappointed with the 20 amp version. If you’re looking to upgrade your work area with 20 amp circuit because the 15 amp circuit is being overloaded with your power tools, this is a good outlet to invest in. I highly recommend this 20 amp outlet for your workshop. Read more
