This is very cute. I love the way. It looks on our woodstove. We used to just have a bowl on top with water. But now we have this very decorative piece. When I ordered, it said it had an elk on it. But it looks more like a deer, which is what I really wanted. It seems well-made and should last a long time. Read more
First, the packaging was excellent, see pic. This product is only enamel coated on the inside, the outside is not protected from corrosion. So, I recommend "seasoning" this product before use. We use cast iron pans for cooking, so we are very familiar with "seasoning" cast iron. After seasoning the pot & lid the exterior looks really nice, see pics. Hint: we also place the steamer on two ceramic tiles to remove any possible staining/corrosion between the two. Read more
