Simply put, this is a great vest. When ordering it, I had to double check all the information because many vests don't actually include the weights never mind iron weights. This one however did so for the price, I was already impressed. When it arrived, I checked the seems look to be well stitched which is really important for the beating these vests should be able to handle. Next I wanted to try it on. I'm familiar with weighted vests and use a 25lb. one frequently. If you are unfamiliar with weighted vests and have never tried one out, trust me that you need less weight than you think. At least for beginning. This makes the adjustable feature great. For a trial, I reduced the weight of the vest to roughly my usual 25lbs. The solid iron makes changing weight really quick and easy compared to sand or iron ball weights. They are much better quality as well. When wearing the vest it was easy to adjust the size and I was able to get it snug for when I move around. The shoulder padding is nice and was very comfortable at the weight I used. I'm impressed with the quality at this price point. I typically do stationary exercises with the vest - things like squats, pushups, dips and pull ups and some other similar exercises. Many people see these vests as great for going on walks and that is fine but, my advice is to keep the weight low for walks. Don't even think of running with weight. The forces your knees take are multiplied when walking and even more so when running. Oh, as for the exercises that I use this for, it's great that the vest isn't very long; it doesn't go further than my rib cage. This is really important when squatting because some vests will get in the way of your thighs. This vest didn't do that. Big plug. Read more
I ordered this ENERGI CORE weighted vest to add a little challenge to my hikes. I was a little worried it would be uncomfortable - or imbalanced - or hurt my shoulders - but it's NONE of those things. It's perfectly balanced, shockingly comfortable and distributes the weight so well across your chest and back that you don't feel like you're toppling over. I go on half-mile walks with my dog every day around our hilly neighborhood, and today I tried the same route I've been on 1000x with my new vest. WOW what a workout. By the end I was huffing and puffing, but in a good way. And since the vest looks like a typical runner's vest, nobody gave me any weird looks. The padding around the shoulders is also excellent. I have bony shoulders, so backpacks and sling bags are typically uncomfortable for me. But somehow, this 40-lb vest is more comfortable to wear than a 15lb backpack. The quality seems excellent. None of the corners look cheap or frayed. It's built tough and (presumably) will last a while. FInally, the price. $110 really isn't much for a high-quality and SAFE piece of workout gear. Plus, it's something I may end up using multiple times a week for as long as my knees hold up. Overall, I was a bit nervous I wouldn't like it - but I LOVE it. A++ Read more

This vest is easy to adjust and sits close to the body without bouncing. The hook and loop closures and buckles feel sturdy, and once tightened, it stays in place during walks, squats, and bodyweight exercises. The full weight is more than I can comfortably use right now, but the removable iron weights make it easy to scale up gradually. The individual weight pockets are well-sized, so nothing shifts while moving. Comfort is better than expected for a heavy vest. The shoulder padding helps distribute weight evenly, and the material breathes well enough for moderate workouts without irritating. I’ve used it for strength training and incline walking, and it feels more secure and controlled than strapping weights directly to the body. There’s no rubbing or pressure points when properly adjusted. Stitching is tight throughout, and the fabric feels durable. It wipes down easily after sweaty sessions, and I haven’t noticed any loosening or wear over time. For the price, the build quality and adjustability make this a practical way to increase training load safely, especially for exercises you already do regularly. Read more

This weighted vest is an excellent addition to any workout routine. The quality is solid and durable, and it feels comfortable and secure during workouts. I really like that it comes with 18 removable iron weights, each weighing 2.08 pounds, for a total of 40 pounds. Being able to add or remove weight as you go makes it perfect for gradually building strength and endurance. The vest fits well and stays in place whether you’re strength training, running, or doing general fitness workouts. The reflective strip is a nice safety feature, and the zipper pocket is convenient for small essentials. Overall, this vest is well-designed, versatile, and effective for leveling up your workouts. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to push their fitness to the next level. Read more
Really well made. VERY heavy when all weights are present. I'm 190 lbs. and fit (work out 5-6 times a week), and after walking around for a mere 10 minutes I was feeling the extra 40 lbs. on me. The fabric material, hook & loop closures, and buckles all feel very solid (a good sign when it comes to a product like this). The pockets for the weights are tight, which is great because there is no shifting of weight while walking or jogging. It's a stellar weighted vest that I highly recommend! Read more
