This vest is pretty decent. It performs its job just fine. It fits on me pretty well right out of the box. I got the 12 pounder. I didn't weigh mine but I would assume the weight would be correct. All the stitching on this is pretty good. I don't see any loose strings or anything like that. Everything about it feels like it is well made. I have been wearing this while i workout just for the extra little exercise. The vest handles the weight well. I like this vest and I am happy to have it. As I type this, the cost for this is $22.99. I've been using an 8-lb weighted vest with my walking pad on an incline for almost 4 months. I was planning to move to a heavier vest in January of next year, but when this ENERGI CORE vest popped up, I jumped on it. Oh my! There is a bigger difference between an 8 lbs vest vs. a 12 lbs vest (in a good way). Four pounds doesn't seem like it would be that much, but my legs would beg to differ. This "one size fits most" vest fits well. The weight is evenly distributed, so I'm not pulled to either side, and it doesn't shift around. I have not detected any leaks. I let it air dry after each use. I feel like I'm starting over with this vest, but that's the point, isn't it? Read more

This is a well made weighted vest that, according to my my digital scale weighs 12lbs 2 Oz. The padding is very good and it fit me nicely without being too bulky. I'm 6 ft 250lbs and I questioned whether it would fit but it does fit perfectly on me. Your mileage may vary. It has only one adjustable strap in the front but it was effective. But again depending on your body the fit may vary. I appreciate the simple design with the one strap as it makes it very convenient to put on or take off. The additional 12 lbs from this vest will be great for my continued effort to get in better shape. 12 lbs doesn't sound like much but it adds a nice amount of resistance on runs and other exercises. It actually feels like more for some reason even though it is not. It does have a slight rubber smell to it but very minor. It should dissipate pretty quickly once removed from its box. The added storage arm strap is a nice bonus to store your phone or what have you while working out. Read more

I’m new to weighted vests (I already carry enough weight chasing kids around!), so I decided to start with the 8 lb version, and I’m so glad I did. The fit is fantastic. I’m not a large person, but I do have a fuller chest, and this vest accommodates that really well. The weight is evenly distributed and the clasp sits higher up near the collarbone which makes it incredibly comfortable and avoids any awkward pressure. The vest feels sleek and secure without being bulky, and I love the little back pocket for keys or a card if I’m heading out without pockets (albeit do note it's a mesh pocket that's open on the top, so it doesn't zip close). There is also reflective stripes on the vest which makes me feel safer if I'm using this at dusk or nighttime. Overall, it’s a great beginner-friendly weighted vest that still feels high quality.
