I couldn’t find a magnetic mount that allowed enough room to properly adjust my cell phone or the magnetic was horrible and wouldn’t hold my cell phone. This product does both extremely well. I love this cell phone holder! I have bought 6 holders and the only one that worked on my Subaru Outback Limited was the one that hung off my review mirror but it pulled my mirror off the windshield! I went and had it glued back on but then I was scared it would happen again. I drove my son’s Lexus and he had a magnetic cellphone holder and I loved it! I bought one like he had but it attached in the vents and my Outback doesn’t have a central vent so I couldn’t see my phone for the GPS. So again, I sent that one back. Then I found this one. It said it had a powerful adhesive so I could attach to my textured dash. I was still skeptical but it worked!! I didn’t touch it for 48 hours after attaching to my dash but it is stuck tight! Magnet for the phone is awesome. Holds phone perfectly. The issue is with the double-sided tape to hold it to the dash, it sucks. Came unstuck after 3 weeks. Replaced with the second piece and surprise, that one came unstuck as well. And yes, it was stuck to a smooth part of my dash. Read more
Compatible with iPhone 12 Pro plus does not mean it’s MagSafe compatible. I guess that’s on me for assuming. You have to use the metal insert and then you can’t use the MagSafe charger because it has a metal insert. Wish I would have noticed before attaching it to my dash. Updated. One of the strongest magnets I’ve had for a phone holder. Easy to install, but be patient when applying to dash or other smooth surface of your vehicle. Clean area well with soap and water and THEN clean with alcohol just before applying the adhesive base. When applying the adhesive base, apply decent pressure for at least 60 seconds. Leave it on for at least 48hrs before putting your phone on it. Let the glue set and when it gets hot in the vehicle, check it by pressing firmly a few times to make sure it’ll stay set.
