I drive a Honda Ridgeline pickup, and finding anything that would stick to a heavily textured dashboard — with almost no flat surfaces near the driver — has been a years-long battle. I’ve tried all kinds of DIY solutions, and none of them held up. I finally bought this mounting disc for suction cup phone holders (and trust me, I have plenty of those). I let it sit for a week while I figured out the best location, and when I finally installed it, it was stupid easy. Honestly, I wish I had done this years ago. It would’ve saved me so much aggravation. Since installing it, I’ve had zero issues. My phone holder doesn’t move unless I move it. It’s rock solid and super stable. After all these years, I finally have a real solution — and at a very fair price. Thank you, eSamcore. Read more

I found this when trying to find a way to mount a magsafe mount to my oddly textured wall. It seems not very many adhesives will stick to my wall. I finally found this mounting pad that does, and months later it's still sticking. I would buy this again as its great value and quality for the price. Read more

I bought this to mount a phone mount onto for a not flat surface. The concept works, but it didn't stick very well to my dash. Most likely my fault for not completely cleaning my dash considering other mounts also failed to stick. Therefore, I felt it would be unfair to remove points for that. If you do not have a flat spot on your dash, this will most likely work for you. Unfortunately, it didn't for me. Read more

These things stick like crazy. I had one mounted to the windshield of my truck in south louisiana, where it gets very hot. Never fell off, super impressed. Read more

The perfect solution for car makers that insist on not putting a single flat section on their dashboards. So far they've survived some pretty serious interior heat. They slap on easy and have outlived one tablet holder so far. They could be a little larger as they come a little too close to being the same size as the suction cups on a lot of mounts. Read more

I stuck this to the dash on a warm day in full sun. I cleaned the dash of my 2012 Nissan Sentra with an alcohol wipe and let it dry before I applied this mounting disk. I then let the car sit untouched for a full 40 hours. (I just didn't need to go anywhere or I would have only waited 24) Then I mounted a brand new phone mount. I'm not thrilled with the location now that I've used it for some time but I'm afraid to try moving it so I'm making due. My mount hasn't fallen off it it yet but winter is coming so I'll report back after a polar vortex or two to see if that loosens either the mounting disk or the phone mount. So far I'm pleased. Sturdiness and the adhesive are very strong so much if I wanted to take it off I’ll be buying a new dashboard panel. Installing it was very straightforward and it has been 8 months lasting the heat and cold. Read more

I have mixed feeling about this mount. It fits uneven surfaces, provides a great solid mount, and would be perfect except for one fatal flaw. If you use it in your car, and the car is in the sun, and the windows are shut, it's just a matter of time (perhaps a month of use) that the adhesive gives out. I was diligent about cleaning the surface with alcohol prep pads, and gave it 24 hours to cure. It made it a month with no problem, but then the adhesive quit do to temperature concerns. If you live in Maine this might work, or Minnesota or Alaska, or most of Canada this may be a perfect fit. If you live in Florida, as I do, this won't survive but a month or two. Outside of Florida this is likely a 5 star product. Read more
