I am not a matcha snob, but let’s just say I hate the overpriced matcha at a large chain coffee shop because it’s too sweet and weak. This matcha is perfect and it really does help with energy. I am a Crohn’s disease girly and this helps my stomach as well. I mix a heaping tablespoon with 4 oz of water, use a frother, then add a splash of creamer and about 6 oz skim milk. It’s delicious, not sweet, and even has some added protein. It is pricey but you’re paying for *good* matcha, the mushroom benefits, collagen, protein. It’s worth it to me especially when a matcha from the coffee shop is $7-$8 and tastes bad. Read more

I have tried another mushroom coffee and thought I knew what I was getting was supposed to be it. This!! Everyday dose is tea! Like I love the clarity and energy it gives. I love the matcha taste and smell. Not strong but not unpleasant or nonexistent. Digestion is easy. It works in so many ways! Love the fact that it’s pretty natural. I would love a matcha with no caffeine content if possible from this brand but by far LOVE! Future subscriber! The color is like regular matcha but looks slightly oxidized I believe is the word. Tastes like normal matcha after it is frothed together with a bit of milk added for a latte, no real detectable taste of collagen or mushrooms at least for me. Read more

First, I know what ceremonial grade Matcha is. There is NO WAY that ceremonial grade is in here. So the quality of the tea is immediately terrible. Matcha drinkers will know that the lower grades taste terrible, so Let’s start with that. I then add the mushrooms for the taste and color of mudy water and finish it off with the bitterness of something that tastes like dandelion milk and finish it all by letting it sit on a shelf for a year. There are NO health benefits to something that you can’t drink. There is NO value for your money here. I tried to return it after opening it and the return process is FULL of return caveats for opened goods. As a result, I feel disappointed and ripped off to have spent $45 for a bag of lies that looks and tastes like something from a sewer. YUCK!!!! Don’t buy this. I couldn’t even get past 1/4 cup. I tried cream. I tried sugar. Nothing tames the taste of this disgusting blend. Lastly, it shares a name with a bigger brand coffee flavor but when you go to the commercial website, this isn’t on it. I feel duped in every way. Read more

I add a shake of turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger to this matcha powder and a teaspoon of honey. I fill my cup with half milk & half water, mix well & nuke. It’s tasty and satisfying. I haven’t noticed a caffeine buzz and am not sure I feel energized but I do enjoy a cup each morning. It was very expensive so I’m not sure I’ll reorder unless I notice some other health benefits. I didn’t love the Matcha as much as the coffee…and I’m not a coffee drinker! It was a fine matcha taste, just not as good as their coffee option. Also it caused a huge dip in my milk supply as I’m breastfeeding. Not sure why! I pump at work and wasn’t even able to produce anything the day I started it. Had no issues with the coffee flavor though. Had to stop with the matcha after only 3 days. Total waste :( Read more
