It's only five I purchased mine October 15th of 2024 and today it's March 20 of 2025 and my refrigerator is already telling me to replace my filter, so no this doesn't last six months like they say only five months and I'm the only one drinking water every day from my refrigerator and using the ice maker as I live by myself so this should last a little longer specially for one person because it's a one time use every day, if it was more people and many more uses of water or ice then I get i, but it's not the case, so this is the reason why I give four stars instead of five because they're lying about the time, other than that, I like my filter cause my water is delicious.
