I haven't measured anything for a quantitative test, but it appears to be catching stuff. The water flow in our house also seems to be fine. Our water provider supposedly does reverse osmosis for all of our water due to PFAS/PFOS. Well despite that, this filter was brown after a year of use and there was some sediment around it too. I'm glad to have a whole home water filter. You never know what goes on between the water source and your house. I bought some other brand before this and the cap was cracked and it also had a bad seal. This one seems to be made pretty well. I plan to keep buying this one for the foreseeable future. Read more

This is the cheapest way to buy these filters. We have a whole house 3 filter (their "heavy metal" setup) using the Activated Carbon Block as the last filter after a KDF and a sediment filter. When we first set this up it was amazing the difference in our water quality!
