I’ve purchased this Express Water Whole House Filter Set multiple times now, and I can confidently say it works incredibly well. We use it to filter our city water, and the difference is night and day. The water that comes out tastes clean and fresh—better than bottled water, in my opinion. When first installed, the filters are bright white, but by the time they need replacing, they turn dark brown—it’s honestly shocking (and disgusting) to see everything they catch. It really makes you think twice about what’s in your city water. The sediment filter especially shows how much debris and particles are removed. I’m constantly amazed at how effective the 3-stage filtration is, and I love that it includes polyphosphate to help reduce scaling, which has helped extend the life of our appliances too. If you’re looking for a high-capacity, reliable filter set, this one is absolutely worth it. Our water has never tasted better, and I feel much better knowing what’s not making it through. Read more

Our water softener sprung a leak and so it was time to research for a replacement. Our water had two problems: it smelled metallic and was hard enough to leave scale on dishes. After reading through many softener reviews, I decided that we would take a chance on a whole house filter setup. Maybe we would need to add a softener down the road, or maybe not. A big appeal is the passive nature of the filter setup. I’m happy to report that the filters have performed amazingly. I’m not an expert on the chemistry of potable water, but do some reading on water softening versus conditioning. After one month, there is a notable reduction in scale on our dishes. We are still removing a lot of the old scale, but it is not returning so far. And the taste and smell of our water is incredible! Almost an instant improvement. There’s no smell and I could drink from the tap all day. There’s no noticeable reduction in the water pressure. We will definitely consider this filter package again in a year’s time. It does what it says and the improvement in our water quality is undeniable. The water still measures “hard” on a test strip, but the conditioning provided by the filter seems to mitigate the scale that the hardness would cause. Thank you! Read more
