Not much to say other than the fact that it does what it's supposed to do. I don't find it to be particularly noisy and the speed is what's to be expected from a small external drive. The real selling point is the length of the cable. It's a lot longer than any other drives I looked at. You don't have to worry about moving your computer and yanking the drive off your desk, etc. So... does what it should and has a nice long cable. Read more

Worth the money, but still technically a little marginal. Pros: very low profile, and USB-C Connector on back (so I don't need to use the silly y-cable) Cons: Drawer doesn't always latch first try. Not the fastest I have seen Bottom line: worth the money. Read more
Product came in its original box, so it was well protected in shipping. I chose this model of CD/DVD External Drive because it has both a USB and Type 2 plug for attaching to the computer. Both work well (I'm using the Type 2 plug on my computer). I was able to copy software disc programs onto my computer and rip a CD. The External Drive is an excellent performer and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs this kind of drive. Read more

First off, I hate leaving crappy reviews, but this product did not work as advertised. It is supposed to be PNP, but when connecting using the supplied cable to my two PCs, neither would recognize the device, whether or not a data CD or music CD was or was not inserted. As the instructions suggest, I even tried connecting both the USB A and C pigtails into my docking stations at the same time to ensure adequate power was being supplied. On one of my PCs, I even went as far to check the bios setting to ensure external drive support was enabled. In Device Manager, no CD/DVD ROM was present and there were no unknown devices listed.
