This extra-large sisal cat scratcher bed is a total winner in our house! The size is perfect — finally, a hammock-style scratcher that gives my cat plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The natural sisal surface is durable and irresistible for scratching, which means my furniture is getting a well-deserved break! The solid wood frame is sturdy and doesn’t wobble, even when my cat launches herself onto it during zoomies. The hammock shape is genius — she alternates between scratching, lounging, and napping all in one spot. It's become her new favorite hangout. Assembly was quick and easy, and the upgraded larger size truly makes a difference, especially for bigger cats or spoiled loungers (like mine). The design also looks great in the room — minimal, natural, and stylish. If you want something that combines play, comfort, and durability, this scratcher bed is absolutely worth it. My cat gives it two paws up! Highly recommend! Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’m so happy I picked this extra-large sisal cat scratcher it’s exceeded all expectations. Right out of the box it felt solid and well made. The size is perfect: tall and wide enough for my cat to stretch fully without it wobbling or tipping. My cat took to it almost immediately and hasn’t touched the furniture since. The sisal surface is rough and satisfying it gives good grip without shredding too quickly. I also appreciate how easy it is to clean and maintain; a quick brush or wipe keeps it looking fresh. Overall, a great investment. Stylish, durable, and effective my cat loves it, and that’s all that matters! Read more

Very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble - worst part getting the sisal over the tubes but just because this is good, heavy sisal - he won't tear it apart anytime soon. Read more

My cat is notoriously fussy about scratchers. She had an expensive scratch post she never used. She prefers to scratch the couch and carpet. Cardboard scratchers are too lightweight and make a mess. This one feels solid, has no weird odors, and was easy to put together. It’s 12 screws total and tools are included. It even comes with little non slip pads to stick to the feet. Sissy cat instantly went for it and has been using it as a hang out and scratching spot. She prefers it to the couch and carpet, which is a first. I might have to buy more so that I don’t have to move or around the house. I think this scratcher is ideal for cats that prefer to stretch horizontally and love to scratch surfaces. Read more

I love it! And it would have been simple to assemble BUT they left out 2 large critical screws 😣. I did write to the seller and I hope they get back to me but in the meantime I went to hardware store, showed them one of the screws I needed and bought 2 so I could finish assembly ($1.50x2=$3.00). It’s solid and looks great, cats love, great quality/sturdiness and should last a pretty long time. So would be 5 star+ if all the hardware was in the pkg Read more

This is a sturdy item: the wood frame is well built and lovely, and the nubby woven scratching surface is thick enough to stand up to my 4 cats’ claws. They really enjoy kneading and scratching on it, and the shed claw sheaths that I find on it daily tell me it’s doing its job! Read more

Finding cat products that actually work for giant breeds such as Maine Coon or ragdoll is often a challenge. Even when I measure and the items are advertised as XL or extra large, sometimes it's just not the case in reality. While the cats haven't really used this as a scratching post, they love to sleep in it, play around it, and just rest on it. Having additional options for my huge Maine Coon kitten is vital so he's not blocking walkways or trying to bite ankles. He'll come in the room and plop into the hammock and keeps his favorite stuffie Octoman there so he can chomp on it at will. I liked this so much I bought another one for a different room. The older cat doesn't seem as interested but that's probably because the kitten is always in this hammock. Once you figure out a decent method for using both hex tools to tighten the main locking screws assembly is very easy. The instruction sheet text size and illustrations are small but accurate. It's really hard to review this, because while the construction is excellent, my cats both did not like using it as a scratching pad. The hammock sisal moves when it the cat gets onto the scratcher, and my cats apparently only like stationary scratches. It comes with catnip, but even that was not enough of an attractant. The scratcher is beautiful, but it is useless to me because my cats don't use it for its intended purpose. I tried propping it against a piece of furniture, but it slid away and moves. It only is good if your cat enjoys a scratching item where the material moves. I'm glad it has worked for many others, but it just didn't for me. If it works for you, you will be pleased with how easy it is to set up, and how nice it looks! Read more
