Complete disappointment, bought the system, installed it exactly as it told me to, worked well for about two or three months, but now since then it's been nothing but problems, started shocking my dogs inside the house, now the receivers don't even pick up the wire and my dog's cross it all the time, a complete waste of money. Happy with this product in every way........ Except the cheap surge protector. I ordered one from another company as a substitute and am hoping to get a credit for the cost of the one that came with the fence. Purchased this this year and installed on a little over an acre. Was easy to install. We have 5 dogs all with collars it works great!! This underground fence is definitely a Great investment!! Miso (our 5 month old lab puppy) actually learned the whole routine very quickly and easily. We have it set for a 10' "leeway" and the correction rate is set at 3. She weighs about 45 lbs. and has been "shocked" only twice, and once it was my fault, not hers! The beep is enough to make her run back into her "safe zone." We enclosed 2 different yards, one was about 1/2 acre and the other was about 2 acres. We did rent a trencher, which made installing the wire quite easy. Both yards were installed in under a day. Now if we could just teach her everything else she needs to know as quickly. Read more
I purchased the pro kit because of the 10 year warranty. Then I found out replacement warranty was only good for one year. I got strung along try this, try that. My father who is a Vet, lost 2 service dogs to the highway because what they told me to try didn't work. Now they want to charge me a discount for new collars because my one year replacem warranty has passed. This system has been a problem since I purchased it. I am very unsatisfied with this product and the warranty is a joke and is not as described. I would give no stars if I could. Do not purchase this product, it's over priced and you'll get strung along until the replacement warranty is up or until you lose all your fur babies to the highway. Read more
