this is great to be able to have 2 dogs and 1 remote. I have only used the sound and they hate it, lol. it works extremely well on the little barking times. All I have to do now it put it on them and say no bark. they don't like the sound so they don't bark. I have not had to use the vibration and never would use the shock on the little dogs. Finally, one that works!!! Read more

I own at least 5 dog collars that shock, rattle, make a noise, etc. , and every one except this one was extremely difficult to operate...or to even understand the directions. This one is a total winner. Easy to understand directions, easy to use, wonderful reflecting collar, and charges quickly. Best value of all collars for the money. Also very comfortable for my little barker. Read more

The good is that these are tiny, and fit on my 10 lb pets with a 7-8in. neck. That's about the minimum size I would try, though. They hold a charge very well and seem well made. The biggest drawback is that the collars don't work every time. I'd say they work only 85-90% of the time, even at short range (under 20 ft.). I live in an apartment, so I'm trying to train my pets to be less vocal. The beep works most reliably, then the vibration, the shock I'll treat separately. There isn't any notice of low battery, but I keep them charged every week. Sometimes the collar won't work, but will work 5 seconds later or 5 minutes later. Often the pets can turn the collars off accidentally, the button needs to take a little longer before switching. The shock doesn't seem to work after the first two weeks but the light on the tester still works, and they still shock my arm when I try. My animals are stubborn and their fur is long, so they may be ignoring it. I would also like a break-away collar design instead of this solid belt design, for safety. Read more

If you're trying to train your puppies/dogs not to do certain things, this might do the trick. Our puppies have plenty of room to run, but seem to be determined to attack the sprinkler heads or to thrash around in/on the shrubs, breaking off large branches. The buzz/vibrate/shock part of the collar is a bit bulky, so it's not something you would want or need to leave on at all times. In fact, the best way to use it would be sit in view of the dogs as they go about their business. You might have to "create a situation" in which you'd like to change their behavior, i.e., put the collars on, turn on the sprinkler system, and when they 'attack' your sprinkler heads, give them a light buzz. If they don't respond, you can use the low 'shock.' It's not bad. We tried it on ourselves first. For something that's always available to them, such as shrubbery, you would have to sit outside for long periods of time and just watch, ready with the remote to 'zap' them when they get to wild around the plants/shrubs. If you have time to do that, it should deter them even when you're not watching. We haven't found enough time yet, lol. The few times we've tried it, just the "vibrate" mode gets their attention. If they persist, the low shock mode has distracted them from whatever destructive behavior they're doing. We need to spend more time with it, but I think it's probably pretty effective. Read more

I have 2 toy poodles. They would bark if a car drove by. If they were outside to potty they would chase someone walking by in the neighborhood while barking. Embarrassing! These collars were immediately affective. Weβve very rarely used the shock feature because the vibrate is plenty enough to stop the behavior. Now that weβve been using them for a long time, only the beep is needed most of the time. Theyβve learned that if they donβt stop when they hear the beep, a vibrate is next. And they donβt like that feeling. Highly recommend! Read more

I have 2 yappy tiny toy poodles who bark when the wind blows the wrong way. This has been helping allot, haven't had to use the shock yet just the vibration which really gets their attention. Went on vacation and forgot to bring collars but will work with them again when we get back back. Will update review then. But so far so good! Read more

We love this dual dog training collars, it works perfect for what we needed to keep our little dogs in our yard and teach them to come when called. And they are nice and small on our 10 and 11 lb. dogs. Read more
