eXuby - Tiny Shock Collar for Small Dogs 5-15lbs - Smallest Collar on The Market - Sound Vibration

Onyx is a 5lb Chihuahua. I've been working with him to stop some over the top barking that now and then overtakes him. I've tried a couple different shock collars with him, including one that detects the barking, which I didn't like because it went off when he wasn't barking and the shock was too strong for him. I tried a vibration only collar but, it didn't snap him out of the compulsion, he would just shake it off and continue barking. And the other collar I tried that had a remote was way too big for him, even though I got the smallest one I could find at the time. I had given up on shock collars and have been working with him other ways with varied success when I came across this one. The remote allows me to stay in control, and it's the perfect size, it's not too bulky or heavy on his little neck. I try to stick to vibrations, but I have used the No.1 setting for the shock, which is successful. I won't be using anything more powerful than that since that setting disrupts his barking and allows me to introduce correction. I think anything more than that setting would be too strong for him. I tried all the settings on myself first, and No. 1 only feels like a tickle for me, so I'm confident I'm not hurting him. This product has worked for us. I’ve had it for three years. The battery is good, but not quite as advertised. The collar unit is durable in spite of the fact that the rubber grommets have failed and come off of the color itself. It still works and is durable but failure is inevitable due to the rubber grommets, not still being attached to the collar unit. Replacement information is not available & limited. Read more

They claim this is the smallest collar on the market, and I believe them. I searched all over for a shock collar small enough for our chihuahua terrier mix. He is small, but not super teacup small. All other "small" collars were way too big. This one is PERFECT for him. Also, it has an LED indicator showing it is on and working. When the light goes out, we simply plug it in to recharge it. The collar battery lasts about a week between charges, which is not bad for it's small size. I have not fully tested the range of the remote, but it seems to go pretty far. It has 2 warning settings and a 9 level ZAP function. First is a warning beep, the other is a vibration warning, and the final is a 9 level shock. These are fully controllable by the remote. It also gives a good ZAP, too ( I tested this on myself before putting it on him. We use level 5, and it gets his attention pretty well ) We have only had to zap him a few times, and now the warning beep is all he needs to comply. Excellent product. Read more

The collar worked really good. I would have given a five star but the remote suddenly stopped working and has a symbol on the remote I don't recognize. Manual and directions are hard to locate online. Even though remote broke I'm ordering another one. Read more

I got one of these and it only lasted 4 months before it quit being able to charge anymore. I got another on and it did the same thing. These are to expensive to have them only lasted 4 months. Very disappointed! Read more
