It works great for the price and the boys don't mind the collars. Seems we go through a set of these less expensive collars at least every other year from different brands, but these stand out. All functions are effective, and the flashlights on the collars are really cool. USB-C charging would be a little more convenient, and the collars don't report back to the remote with signal and power level like some. But they are very reliable and that is what matters when keeping the kids safe. Read more

In my opinion, this is the best budget e-collar out there. Both the receiver and transmitter are compact, full featured and have decent battery life. IN USE- I have trained my dog to return to me when I use the vibrate or electrical stimulation mode. With vibrate mode, she complies the vast majority of the time. Occasionally she won’t respond because she is fixated on something (a scent, squirrels, etc) and I will use a low electrical stimulation (9 out of 100) to get her attention. The ONLY time I use a higher level (19 of 100) is when her distraction has the potential to cause her physical harm (i.e.- she is running toward the road and isn’t responding to the vibration stimuli). That being said, I do keep the electrical stimulation level set to 15 as default, since in an emergency I won’t have time to increase it from a lower level and I use the vibration mode 95% of the times anyway. As good as this product is, there are a few things that could be improved upon. 1. I wish the electrical stimulation button was lower profile- it is too easy to accidentally press. I disassembled the remote casing (easy) and sliced off the top of the rubber “shock” button so that it sits almost flush with the casing. (I made sure to bevel the edges to ensure that when the button was pressed, it wouldn’t get stuck under the edge of the case causing the dog to get continuously shocked!) 2. The nylon collars are of low quality. The plastic clips broke and the stitching on one collar failed. I highly recommend that you buy the version with the PVC collars. 3. As to the claims of the receivers being water-resistant… well, I don’t know. I had an older version of this e-collar model (the remote’s styling was slightly different) but water penetrated the receiver and it died. I had noticed that the rubber plug for the charging port fit poorly and was likely the point of compromise. The good news is that the receivers in this newer version seem to have been improved and the charging port plug has a much tighter fit. Still, I decided to put some electrical tape on the back of the receivers to cover the charging port and help prevent water intrusion. So far, so good! IMPORTANT- As with any e-collar, make sure that the shock level is set correctly and the collar is fitted properly. Failing to do so can result in the collar failing to stimulate your dog, or worse, it can cause the dog to receive a painful and traumatizing shock! Like most other e-collars, the stimulation can be set to absurdly high levels. The highest level I have EVER needed was a 15 out of 100, and that was an emergency. Also, remember that the electrical conductivity increases when your dog is wet. A stimulation level that might feel like a slight tingle when when your dog is dry could feel like a painful shock when it is wet. Adjust the level accordingly! As for the fit, the collar should be quite snug. Tight enough so that the receiver won’t move at all, even when the dog runs. The two prongs need to be in contact with the dog’s skin or the electric stimulation won’t work. Read more

I never write reviews, this one I thought I should. This is my third time buying this product. I have two mini Aussie brothers who are about as stubborn as they come. I live on four acres and needed to be able to control them without being on a leash or lead. The first set of collars were great, I lost the remote. Needed to replace them immediately. I ordered again. The second collars I have used for a little over a year, daily. Unfortunately they stopped holding a charge. I looked at others, but decided to get the same ones we have been using this whole time. One, the dogs know the sound and feeling of the vibration but most importantly they listen. Two, I love the night light that is built into these devices. I couldn’t find another set that had this feature for the price. Comes in very handy when you have black dogs and you cannot see them at night. Three, they do hold a charge for about a week without charging. (I have never had to charge the remote) When the collars start to blink green you know it is time to charge. I don’t keep them on while they are inside, my dogs are also kennel trained, so I never leave anything on their neck when it’s time for “bed”. For the money I would recommend this product 100%. Of course it won’t last forever, but you will not be disappointed. Especially when your dog(s) finally listens to you. Read more

I have two complaints. The first one is the power turns off on the collars by itself after a short time and the collar becomes useless. Not sure if it's the location of the power button (it is below the prongs that touch the neck). The collars are not too tight on my dogs so that's not what is causing it. I just have to make sure they are still on every now and then through the day. The second complaint is the beeping isn't very loud I can't here it if my dogs are in the other room with the door open. So it makes me assume they shut off again and I beep them too much. Seeing as I only have to beep my dogs this is very disappointing. We have had 3 different kinds of Collars and these ones I will say have a better quality. They are light weight, not too bulky,?have lights on them and the collar itself is well made. I like the clasp to put them on as our previous ones were buckles and that's a pain. Read more

All I can say is wow for the money. My Dogtra quit charging and I didn't want to mess with it. The Dogtra is expensive and I was bummed because I knew it works. I though would give this brand a try because I have three dogs and got the price I thought I would try it. The price is fantastic. The programming of collar to channel is super easy. The range is just what I need. I live on eight acres and my dogs like to run off. Now they know not to go far. The beep is loud and gets their attention. The vibration is strong for when they need motivation. The shock is powerful when they just don't care to listen. so start low. My setting is 15 of 99. And I've had to only use it once. The vibration gets their attention. I didn't think I would like the flashing light but when I'm outside at night working, I don't have to stop them from their fun by calling them for me to see where they are. I will be purchasing another one for my third dog since this only came with two receivers. Read more
