How much do you really weigh
It's always been interesting at the doctor's office during weigh in time. We used a digital scale at home for years and there could be wide swings in readings depending on just how you stood on the device. This is particularly problematic if you have a balance problem and need to steady yourself while the scale attempts to calculate your weight. Sometimes there would be great optimism, only to fade once the real number was announced at the doctor's office. This is basically the same scale used by the doctor and the hand post provides the means to safely steady oneself. Once calibrated, balance scales are extremely accurate and quire easy to maintain in that state. This unit was exceptionally easy to assemble, takes up little floor space and makes monitoring a weight loss/mantenance program accurate and reliable. Took a while to decide to go in this direction, but we believe it was a great investment, providing the real numbers needed to approach weight management seriously... and eliminating some potential embarrassment at the doctor's office!
