I’ve been using this for 11 months with my Ram Mount attached to the integrated center console mounting point in my Ford Bronco. I use this with my MagSafe compatible iPhone in an Urban Armor Gear MagSafe compatible case. The magnet is certainly strong enough for reliable automobile usage. Phone placement is easy as the magnet is strong enough to “grab” the phone. You instantly know if you have a secure mount. The phone has only dislodged twice under extreme driving conditions. Neither time did I feel as if the mount wasn’t sufficient for its purpose (phone fell once under emergency braking and once during extreme off road use). I have been pleased with the performance and convenience of this mount and it has been completely secure in normal driving conditions with my MagSafe compatible phone case. Read more

I installed this using my existing ram mount and it works great. Holds well with my S24 Ultra and Torras magsafe case. I use it in my 3/4 ton truck and have not had any issues with it falling off yet even when going off road. The magnets could be a little stronger to hold the phone but it has just enough force to not cause any falling off issues yet that I have seen.
