First thing to point out is that this is an inexpensive hairdryer and therefore shouldn't be compared to expensive models. I will be rating it based on its budget product class. The hairdryer is super light and does not cause fatigue during long blow-drying sessions. It is more compact than old school hairdryers, which makes it easier to store and pack for travel. The airflow is sufficient for drying my hair, though it puts out a bit less air than other hairdryers I have used. It can be used with no attachments or with one of the three attachments it comes with. Honestly, I think it should only be purchased if you are intending to use it without the concentrator or brush attachment. They are made of thin plastic that feels very cheap and rather flimsy. The slightest pressure causes the plastic to flex. I wouldn't expect them to last long at all. The diffuser is made of a more durable plastic. I am impressed with the heavy-duty cord they used. The hairdryer is very simple to operate. It has a sliding switch to select one of three speeds. A temperature button toggles between cool and hot. A light gives a visual indication of the temperature selection. I think the hairdryer is a good value at the current price of $23.99, if you are not planning to use the concentrator or comb attachments. If you need the attachments, I would choose a different hairdryer. The pretty purple color would appeal especially to preteens/teens.
