When I suffered a tear in my upper bicep muscle I knew right away it wasn't a small one by the indented look of it at the location of the cramping pain. I quickly wrapped the lower section of the bicep with the only thing I could find which was a gauze wrap to allow the muscle to be held upwards to keep the tissue together. I ordered the Featol because it had independent lower and upper tension control which I imagined would be better. I ordered it within hours of my mishap (lifting my motorcycle) and got it the next day which was nice. It worked perfectly in my particular case because it allowed for a snugger lower bicep wrap to keep the muscle up so it could knit better, while at the same time allowed to keep it much less snug at the top which was needed because of swelling in the injury area. It was comfortable and I was able to sleep with it on. Over the next few days I gradually snugged up the top more as the reduced swelling allowed. The bruising from the tear showed up on day three. I probably got lucky on this one but the Featol worked great and I give it full credit. Designed well. I'll be wearing it it for awhile when I need to do any lifting. Read more

I am a bowler and I injured a ligament on the bicep of my bowling arm. I was unable to hold the weight of the bowling ball and throw it. A friend recommended getting a sleeve for my bicep. I purchased this one and it did the trick. The sleeve has good compression and support for my arm. It is easy to put on and provides plenty of support. I would highly recommend this product. I have to have this for a previously broken arm. It is the first upper arm brace I've had that I can put on by myself. It works well supporting my arm which is weak at times. It's well priced and seems well made. Read more

This brace worked well for my tendonitis and was a bit smaller scale than some other braces. I needed one that could fit under my sweater sleeve and this did ok although there is obviously some added bulk. I am a goddess of various braces due to multiple soft tissue issues; tennis elbow, golfers elbow, plantars fasciitis, and now this lovely biceps tendonitis. All to say that I've got an extensive history with braces of various types and would recommend this one. Read more

I was really looking forward to this given how it looks in the photo, but it doesn't come close to fitting that well, nor staying in place once you do get it on. The interior sleeve also doesn't fit well or stay in place. I wore it awkwardly for a couple of hours and then put it back in its box. If you can have someone else position and install it on your arm, then not move for several hours while wearing it, then it would prove helpful. Otherwise, best not to waste the money. In theory it's a great design. Just not in practice. Read more

I had my arm splinted for a fractured humerus, this actually works better for me 6 months later. It's not exactly painful without it, but it feels bad. It's a pain in the... arm...to put on, but it's worth it. Read more
