This is an excellent brace, as braces go. I sized down and it is a good fit, not bulky or heavy, . The inner rib forms a nice pocket or channel for the thumb to sit, and this a design feature I've encountered with no other brace. The stability it provides the MCP joint is very firm. It is immobilized. The CMC joint is also stable. My thumb would feel better if immobilized into less of an extension position, and more in flexion. The inner rib can't be bent to allow for my need of less extension. So this brace will be perfect for some people and other people not. This is the best brace I've found for what I call "cell phone thumb," ~ the thumb's version of tennis elbow. It's easy to adjust to your liking for snugness and it holds the thumb firmly in place. After I got used to having it on at night I was able to sleep through the night without taking it off ~ and in just a few days my thumb was very much better. Read more

The brace is high quality and works, but it puts pressure towards end of thumb and instability causes more discomfort on tendon for me. For others it may be fine. I tried using it twice and same result. I’m using a padded finger splint now instead. Plus, I have more flexibility to do more while wearing my solution. Read more

I have other braces from this brand that are great. Worth the money. Unfortunately the sizing runs small and it was uncomfortable. Had to return. This was the only issue I’ve had from this brand. Highly recommend the other braces! Read more

Fantastic immobilization. The built in fabric prevents chafing at the break. The contour is perfect. It is high quality materials. I’m hard on things and it has held up to farm life. Read more
