Takes too long to read
Bought to use as a rectal thermometer for my child, but tested it out orally to ensure appropriate temperature readings prior. The temperature readings are accurate (within .2 of my other thermometer), but it takes FOREVER to read a temp, which is not great for a rectal temp for a baby, and even had my husband impatient checking an oral temperature. Would not recommend simply for the length of time it takes to read. Read more
