I bought this for my elderly father who had had a stroke. They had this same clock at the rehab center. He was in and we put it to the red white and blue setting as there are several settings and it’s very easy to read with big letters and numbers it also tells the date and the day of the week which is great for orientation for an older person. Great for seniors that are homebound and maybe forgetful. It's easy to read and can be helpful when taking medication. Initially setting up the clock takes a few minutes but after it's set up it works perfectly. It does require power and can be hung on a wall but the power cable is kinda short. I have not tried it yet but it has an alert function to remind you to take your medication up to three times a day. Easy to read, clear and bright. Set up instructions are very vague. No instructions for medicine alarm timer. Should have battery backup with the electric. When you unplug, it doesn't work. Does not hang straight on the wall because the cord comes out the side and the weight tips it. Can't double side tape it because the setups are on the back. Read more

Stopped working in 5 minutes. I followed all directions tuned it on and set it all up, so I could do it easily when I gave it to my elderly mother in memory care, looked great. I unplugged it, turned it back on, It said welcome and went dark. The power button wouldn't turn it back on and it was unresponsive to every button.
