I have been using this filter oil for several years and in my opinion it is one of the best. It absorbs into the filter easily and then firms up to become very sticky. The stickiness helps the filter catch a lot of dirt before it gets into your motor and it works well, based on the condition of my motors over the years. I highly recommend wearing gloves when using this and having a good degreaser on hand to help clean up. Read more

I usually buy this Maxima FFT oil online at my go to off road shop, but they recently started to only carry the small 16oz bottles. I decided to look on Amazon and they have these big bottles at a great price. This oil works great I like to soak my filter vs spray on oil. Maxima is a brand you can trust, I use many of their products and have never been disappointed. Read more

This stuff works great as it sticks to my foam filter like no other oil or spray I've used before. Be careful to wring out the excess as too much will impede airflow and can also potentially get pulled into the carb. I suggest oiling your filter over a big bowl or reservoir so you can pour the excess liquid back into the container. If you do this, the bottle will last forever. Now, the big warning, which you will read in practically every review. I cannot state it enough however. This oil is beyond sticky. Once it "sets" (it initially behaves like a fluid similar to motor oil and within a minute or so of being exposed to air it seems to get thicker and incredibly sticky), you will have a hard time getting it off anything it shouldn't be on. I brought the bottle to a friend's house and let it sit on my rubber all season car mats. Well, when I got home, it had tipped over and leaked a bit on the mat. I've sprayed the mat with a hose, washed under hot water with good dish soap, and brought to the car wash and scrubbed with the foaming brush and sprayed it off with the pressurized gun... nothing works. There is still a thin, shiny layer on the mat that would require at least one or two more trips to the car wash to fully remove. Again, this is no joke. Wear gloves, protect your workspace, and immediately clean up any spills. Read more
