Update: I'm buying two more because the original two are starting to let liquid through. They lasted 18 months being washed multiple times a week. I think that was a great value and I'm happy to purchase two more. This sheet protector is amazing. I have a 21 year old severely disabled daughter. Even with absorbent pads in her diaper, she still wets through most nights. We have had to replace her mattress over and over. We've used the plastic sheet covers, which tear easily and are noisy. We've used a super expensive sheet cover that was water resistant, but not water proof (they didn't explain that at the high end store we got it from). We have used a plastic cover under the expensive cover with a mattress pad over top to try to reduce the noise and the wet still got to the mattress. I have 2 of these and they are perfect. No urine gets through to the mattress, they are soft enough that I don't have to put a cover over them and they make no noise. If she wets through I just toss the wet one in the washer and put the other one on. I have had them for several months now and they come out of the washer as white as they were when I bought them - no stains. I finally bought her a decent mattress because I know I won't have to invest in a new one in a year. Read more

This is a really great product. This is the second cover I've bought, replaces a 'quilted' one. First, it provides a really smooth surface for the sheet. Sleeps comfortably. It's also very easy to wash and dry. I toss it in with the sheets, use a second rinse option (no softener or bleach), and it quickly dries along with the sheets on low setting. I've had the first one for 3-4 years. Last, it really is waterproof (even the older one). My 12-year poodle sleeps with me, and she's become somewhat feeble and incontinent. I put down a heavy duty towel on her side of the bed, and if I wake in the night, I get her out of bed to go out. If I don't wake and she has an accident on her towel, it may go thru to the protector, but not to the mattress itself. I would recommend highly. Read more

I am so used to those cheap plastic mattress protectors that you have to zip the entire mattress into. They bunch up under the sheets and crinkle every time you move. When I got this mattress protector, it was like a baby soft terry cloth, with a tpu lining embroidered between the terry cloth. AND, no more having to zip up the entire mattress and inevitably tearing the protector to zip it up. It goes on like a super tight fitted sheet. The feel is great. The lack of noise is wonderful. Not having to worry if my coffee spills in the morning is another plus. And even though my mattress is ~8”, and this protector is for mattresses up to 14”, it still fit snugly on my mattress and allowed me to put my fitted sheet and top sheet on without any bunching. I’ve loved this mattress protector! In my research all the other mattress protectors are made the same exact way and this price tag is decent. It’s soft and does hold liquid if it’s in the proper shape. It makes stripping the bed easy in the middle of the night. I’ve washed mine regularly. For two years it’s worked without any issue, however last night it failed me and the mattress got wet. I held the sheet up to a window and there are pin holes of light shining through in a certain area (as seen with the red arrows). I was hoping this product would last me longer but in researching “how often mattress protectors need to be replaced” it says 2 years. I suggest checking for holes after each wash. Read more

So far I’m happy with mattress pad. I mainly bought it to protect my new 12” memory foam mattress. It fits perfectly. Good and snug with a bit of room left in case the mattress was thicker. Seems well made. I can’t speak of its leak proof ability but I can say that it’s not loud or scratchy sounding once it’s placed on the mattress like vinyl would sound. The backing actually helps it stay in place. As for care, once unpackaged, I washed on warm with a cold rinse. Once finished, I made sure the terry cloth side was facing outward and spun a 2nd time. This seemed to help before placing in the dryer. I then put two dry towels along with pad in the dryer on low heat for 30 minutes and…..voila! Good to go. I would buy again. I have a senior dog w/ a mouth tumor that seeps blood. He is sleeping on a mattress with this cover and then a comforter on top, both of which I have to wash every 2-3 days. I bought 2 of these so I could put clean ones on while dirty ones are in the wash so each cover gets washed at least 2 times a week. This cover is very thin so I was rather leery of how it would work but so far so good (let them air dry, no dryer). They do a great job keeping the blood from getting to the mattress. Hopefully they will hold up thru the life of my dog but, if not, are cheap enough to purchase when they start to wear down - cheaper than a new mattress for sure! Read more

So far it’s perfect! I haven’t given it the waterproof test yet, and hope I never need to find out, but it’s a great characteristic to have and part of the reason I purchased this particular mattress pad. It washed up beautifully and fit as desired on my new full guest bed mattress. I’ll find out more when my family visits soon, but I love that it is thin yet soft and not crinkly and allows the comfort of the pillow top mattress to come through. Happy with my purchase! I have ever owned, I bought this waterproof mattress protector. to protect my Duvall cover ➕ insert, my baby rund kitty urinates quite often on my top bedding, (only my bed) I was getting tired of daily washing my entire bedding, MY SOLUTION TRYING THIS WATERPROOF MATTRESS PAD AND IT WORKED, IT RETAINS THE URINE NO LEAKAGE CONSIDERING I WASH THIS PAD DAILY.
